Re: Our 25th (Silver) Wedding Anniversary! Wll, no steak Dinner and no Lovin. First I heard from the Bride was just now when the Brat called her. I woke at 3 to go to the terlet and saw the back door was open. I went to close it and some guy was asleep at the foot of the steps with garbage bags on his feets.
I woke the kids and the oldest called her Mother as she works at City Hall and knows the police. Kid called the Police and they finally arrived. The guy woke up after in my daze I thought it was the kids boyfriend laying on the ground at 3 am so I nudged him with the screen door.
He got up and wandered the back patio and tapped on the back door glass lightly. I think he was drunk and confussed. The poilice said he told them he had done work for us. We have had no work done as you could tell from looking at the place. We didn't recognize him and he told them he didn't recognize us and asked if the former tenants he knew had been evicted.
They asked us if he took a shower here and I said I had not checked the tub. There were suds in the tub. We have a dog gate between the kitchen and the bathroom and we have a hard enough time stepping over it when sober. When we realized the garbage bags he had on his feet were ours the poilice said "We have a burglary".
So I am here getting ready for work with 5 hours sleep.
Re: Our 25th (Silver) Wedding Anniversary! ratty..you better take care of yourself..and the rattlings...can't afford to come down and kick some butt for you..
Re: Our 25th (Silver) Wedding Anniversary! Sorry to hear you've had such troubles.
At least you got your things back, since the culprit was so ummmmmmm under the ummmmm weather (or back porch storm) door that he still had the bags of your goodies at his feet.
And lucky for us all, the thieves never know what it is that are really the most valuable things to us. Your children, Sir RINGOy things, and precious ones are all safe and sound.... WHEW!!!!
