Everything you know is wrong
Been watching the director's cut of "Beatles Anthology"...pretty cool. Amazed to find out that the reason Ringo left India was food related...but not how you think. Yes, he did bring the Heinz...but a staff member offered to hook him up and make him eggs. It struck him as a bit odd, but once he saw them burying the egg shells...he thought it was a bit hypocritical, so he left.
