Re: why did george like bob dylan you think?
Think at first George was impressed by the songs, and as a person...well, George was always impressed by people he admired that were also impresseded by him (kinda puts 'em on even footing), but mainly I think George saw Bob's sense of humour. And really, isn't the Wilburys' "Vol 3" one of the funniest albums of all time?

Re: why did george like bob dylan you think?
"Modern Times"-the new Dylan, check it out. I like it so much I decided to get two tix for his show in Denver in October. Last time I saw him he was awful, but hey maybe it was a bad day. Anyway it's $55 bucks to see Dylan.
Memo to ex-Fabs and current Stones, et al:
Take a hint from The Bard's ticket prices, maybe it's possible for an artist to make a living and not have your fans take out a second mortgage.

Re: why did george like bob dylan you think?
I've seen Dylan twice and the tickets were reasonable each time. By the way Steve, I just saw a local boy recently, Big Head Todd and The Monsters.. Good stuff.
