Halloween Tapes 2005! You modern types may just have to miss out! I did not make a tape for the Holidays last year. The year before I think I sent them out and many of you went for months before you could locate a cassette player to listen to it on. As I am not with the modern times most of the stuff I have is not on computer or cd, so I can only put it on cassette.
Unless you want a dull generic cd with the same old rot on it like 'Monster Mash' and such. "Monster Mash' is a classic and a fave of mine. Butt there is so much more and I am constantly looking for more. It is nearly impossible to find new stuff on the music download sights without an actual song title as when I put in Halloween type words (Zombie, Monster, Vampire) all that pop's up are rap and hard rock songs and I imagine that most of those are not what I am looking for and there is no way to listen to them without starting each one downloading.
It would be cool to find some of those elementary school Holiday records though I imagine they are not allowed to play Halloween or Christmas songs for the kids anymore since the liberal save the whales crowd now seems to run the school system!
Re: Halloween Tapes 2005! You modern types may just have to miss out! Just planning ahead and getting a few idea's together. Many years I did not get in the mood to do the tapes till October got here. Then the pressure was on to get em finished, copied, packaged and mailed!
Re: Halloween Tapes 2005! You modern types may just have to miss out! In the advertising biz, the projects are usually about 6 months out of wack with the actual calendar. Many a santa suits up in the middle of the summer for those holiday pictures in the plastic snow that will appear everywhere in print and video spots....
After a few years of such calendar shifting, it's difficult to remember what time of year it actually is, other than it's a FAB time for Sir RRRRRRIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGGOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Halloween Tapes 2005! You modern types may just have to miss out! Didn't do one last year since no one seems to have cassette players. Was listening to 2003's in the car and it (Halloween stuff) still scares the youngest Brat so now she is sleeping in the living room tonight as that is where I sleep! I on the Loveseat and she on the sofa~!
