Just in Time For Christmas!! Dr Johnny is burying his Mother this afternoon. I got called into work so I cant go but did go last night to the viewing about an hour up the road in the Country.
Also found out the Ma Mobile needs 2000 dollars worth of work on the transmission. Just in time for Christmas is right, a death and a big car repair bill!

Re: Just in Time For Christmas!! PC3PO is right. A rebuild of a tranny and labor should not run over $1200 (dealer prices too) at the most regardless of the make. Meineke and other transmission shops would probably be in the $600 to $700 ballpark. Where did you take it Rat?

Read the local paper about what restaurants (besides Chinese) would be open on Christmas...the good people at IHOP will be making sure everyone can have their Rooty Tooty Fresh & Frooty...while all their employees work 12 hour shifts. In the words of Clark Griswold: merry ****in' Christmas!
