1 Titanic survivor left now!
One of the two remaining Titanic survivors has died in England. The one left is Millvena Dean. I got a card to her once and she responded and for a few years we swapped letters and cards. The last few years I have not heard from her. In the 80's I wrote the snobs at the Titanic Society asking for addresses of survivors so I could send a card. They said all the survivors were old and frail and did not need to be bothered. Then they kindly asked if I would like to send a donation to their precious society. Heck I ain't gonna send money from my working class budget so those hoity toity folks can eat cavier and act like they had something to do with the Titanic. Ms Dean actually wrote me back and showed more class than those representing the memory of the Titanic!
