His cd's don't sell very well so he's actually saying since 'you don't buy my music you can't be real fans.' He knows anything he signs becomes an E-Bay item. I understand it. The media is making it sensational. His name is out there too so it's a good move. He'll come back in a couple weeks with a statement. It's all part of the business.
He may actually be serious too. So what ?
He probably lost a boat load of money recently with the market crash so he's in a bad mood. He can actually count his money now where before he couldn't count that high.
