first of all, go watch fight club.
the definition of my englightenment? there;s a lot to it.
first time i was enlightened in the manner if which i am speaking (in relation to what you will learn from watching fight club) was the first fight i was in where i beat the other person. (besides the countless fist fights in elementary and jr high school) was age 17. I took down a grown man and beat the snot out of him and he beat the snot out of me. later that year i got into a fight that started with throwing spray paint cans at someone else. soon we were climbing on pack racks in this warehouse and throwing stakes and 2x4s at each other. I got beat real good that day and so did the other guy. i felt quite complete with my black eye, sprained ankle, dislocated shoulder, and a lot of bruises and cuts. pain shows us who we really are under fire. the guy and i gave each other the biggest hug. and smiled. i think we were the happiest we'd ever been.
good thing i never got fired through all the fights at that job... haha
