The Best John Lennon Song of All time and this topic is not meant to try resolve that question, but to merely spur on a discussion of what you think, are John's best songs. At this partucular moment in time.
I am listening to the "I am Sam" soundtrack (no relation) and there are some great covers on there. Sometimes with the Beatles you can't seperate the song itself and how it was constructed, how it flows-from their recording of it. So sometimes you can appreciate a song even more by listening to cover versions.
Anyway my vote goes to "Don't Let Me Down".
That may change after lunch.
Re: The Best John Lennon Song of All time I think it may be best if you change before lunch. That way you'll be nice and fresh for the rest of the afternoon.
