I was in NYC that day, at the Dakota.....I was upstate, took the train to Grand Central, had a couple of hours before I had to catch the train from Penn Central to home (MD.) Sooo, what did I do, I hung out at the Dakota, this was late afternoon. When I got home, my dad woke me, to tell me about John..he was watching football.....the next day, I went to work, and the boss had a radio station (playing all Beatles, & John, all day, routed through the sound system)...it was very sad, most clients were very somber.
I have photos of that day...very errie to look at now.
