Re: Who is a real John Fan? I figured you lot would agree with this story. I went today to pay the car insurance this afternoon and the owner wanted to talk music. He said he was a Beatles expert and read all about them. I got tired of his lack of accuracy on the facts. He said "John Lennon sang 80% of the Beatles songs and gave Paul credit for writing alot of songs Paul did not write".
He said the only song he knew Ringo sang was 'Yellow Submarine'!
He also said Paul said the "Bigger than jesus" quote and that John had no ego.
Just thought you'd like to know. I hope to get internet back in a month or so so I can get back on here and catch up. Love Eggs!
A real John fan would say Paul broke up the band.
The other would say Yoko broke up the band.
I would classify myself as 'the other' because Yoko snaked her way into John's world, got Klein to finance her crappy art and precceded to get John strung out on heroin, before breaking up the Beatles. When she gained control of his estate, she kicked him out and he proceeded to self destruct during the 'lost weekend.' When she realized John was more valuable alive than dead, she takes him back and has a child that she makes him raise. Come on...Who cares how it's presented...the facts are there.
I'll bet she had something to do with his getting murdered. too.
Maybe you are right here, cause Yoko was into astrology and thus evidently knew that John would be killed but did nothing to save him. I am sure the stars told her about something bad looming. She was to blame for everything. Oh, BTW I am a John fan! But I am not a Yoko fan.
