Re: Lenin/McCartney
"Go Now"!!
Guess Paul let Denny perform that in concert so he (Paul) could get some royalties off a song he (Paul) did not write!!
Kinda like (Is it Steven B's theory?) the theory that 'Mercury' signed Ringo and arranged the 'Storytellers' performance so they could get some control of 'With a Little Help From My Friends' and others!!

Re: Lenin/McCartney
Steven B's theory is that Mercury, sniffing potential revenue from pay-per-download licensing/custom cd burning saw future dollars (especially considering Apple will long be a holdout) in new versions of Beatles songs/solo hits (not to mention the Christmas album...why promote it when you can license the songs out!).
For the Macca/Denny conspiracy theory, note that the "London Town" album is loaded with McCartney/Laine compositions...after Denny assigned his publishing to MPL.

Re: Lenin/McCartney
According to Denny's ex, all of it, plus "Ebony & Ivory". Denny himself has called himself "not that prolific" when it comes to songwriting. However, he has released several solo albums that aren't sold by Infested With Fans like Laurence Juber.

Re: Lenin/McCartney
And remember that the 'Band on the Run' album only had Linda, Denny and Paulie doing all the singing and playing. You know other than some backing vocals and a bit of keyboard that Linda did not do it all!
