Re: Shanahan Should Retire I think Tony Dungy will sit Peyton, having seen what has happened to Big Ben and T.O.
the last coupla weeks, so to answer your question I think we'll see a repeat of last year. Denver beats Indy in Denver, then gets clobbered at the Dome when the playoffs start.
Heck the Broncs looked pretty good last week beatin' up on the Titan junior varsity.
If Shanahan wins this weekend his job is probably saved again....you don't see too many coaches get canned after going 10-6.
At this pont Pittsburgh looks like the class of the league.
Re: Shanahan Should Retire :JIMK: Yes,but San Diego could be a sleeper. They should have beat the Colts Sun.And the Patriots losing to Miami woke them up and they are the defending champs. And I know I'm biased, but with no T.O. and with revenge on their minds I still think the Packers have a shot at being the NFC representative although they probably will lose to whoever wins the AFC.
Re: Shanahan Should Retire well...I think the Pack's defense is suspect, but I wouldn't understimate Farve in the playoffs. I think Atlanta may be the big beneficiary from the injury to T.O. in the NFC. IMHO, the Super Bowl winner will come from the AFC championship game NE vs. Pittsburgh. Both teams have championship defenses...I just think it's Pitts year...NE has been great for 3 years...but they have had a lot of things go their way also (like "the tuck" against Oakland three years ago)
