Steve Holl(e)y at Infest Have to say the man did an excellent job filling in with Liverpool, including singing "Octopus' Garden". One of the few drummers I've seen that's figured out that to play like Ringo actually requires one to physically play like Ringo. He also did a signing session even though he hadn't initially agreed to it. (A certain ML told him the fans were demanding it...but since I had arrived early on Friday, I noticed that a sign had alredy been made for Mr. Holl(e)y, as well as Glen Burtnick...that didn't happen.) Seems like a good bloke. Had to tell him how much I thought of the '79 tour version of "Every Night". I surmised from the puzzled look on his face that MPL hadn't sent him the deluxe edition of "Wingspan".
PS Wonderful to hear Liverpool play "Getting Closer" and "Coming Up".
Re: Steve Holl(e)y at Infest Steve plays in Ian Hunter's band. Ian plans to tour after the Mott The Hoople gigs in London in October, unless they get offered big money and tour the U.S.A.
If Ian comes to your town I recommend you check him out. Steve Holly has put on a few pounds, but haven't we all.
