Re: Mesa Basements and Skunks!! Had a mother skunk and her babies wandering through the garden last spring. The last in line didn't follow along and almost got lost, so the mother sent the other little ones back to gather that wayward baby polecat into line....
Managed to capture a pix on the cell phone as they headed on across the brick walkway all scent-free....
Re: Mesa Basements and Skunks!! Used to smell em on the Country roads as a kid when one had been run over. Daddy called the 'Polecats" as well. "Somebody ran over a Polecat"!
