Two postings since I went to work 12 hours ago at 5.30am. One by Tordy Gal who is praying for Our Maggie, and one posting on Hockey. That is fine as we all need distractions of something pleasant in these sad times!@

I just found out about Maggie's passing, and I couldn't be more shocked or saddened. Ashley, if you are reading this, my heart goes out to you. I'll share a little story about Maggie and Ashley. In November of 2002, my daughter decided to move back to Indiana from far northern California. So being good parents, her dad and I flew to San Fran, met up with her, and proceeded to drive back across country. Maggie and Ashley, being the sweethearts they were, agreed to meet us for lunch in Salt Lake City as we came through there. We grossly underestimated our travel time and arrived in SLC at least 2 hours later than we thought. They had had a pretty long drive too, but God love them, they waited for us. So lunch became dinner at KFC and it was the best time! We caught up for an hour or so before heading in opposite directions. A snow storm came upon us and we found out later that it took Maggie and Ash hours to get home, and I was terrified as we crossed the Three Sisters on I-80 headed east. I wanted to share this act of friendship and generosity of spirit the two of them showed us that snowy afternoon. Ashley, you are in my prayers, sweet one, and Maggie, rock on, sister, hanging out with John and George now. S.

Thanks, guys. I miss everyone. Instead of life mellowing out in Florida, it has become more hectic and crazy! But, I love it. Hope to stop by Moondogs whenever I can. Does anyone still chat at pc's place?
