Re: welcome home

Thank-you so for saying such. Things here are laughable and good fodder for a best seller or a sitcom....

Most recently, an infrequent visitor "borrowed" Mother's car even though the state required stickers were not stuck to the car or the license plates (purposely). A very few miles later the local men in blue had a LLLLLOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG discussion with the driver in Mother's driveway. A few hours after that, the "borrower" took Mother to the bank to withdraw the traffic ticket fine money. Once that was done, he and the car disappeared for good, on a cross country cruise....

*hears "Follow the SON" in head....

Hoping you get your moms car back, and that have some good things happen. I know what you mean I had one of the worst weeks of my life when I went to redo the beach trailer. Everything went so bad, but the trailer really looks good. Starting with having to bail my carpenter out of jail for driving without a license before we even got started. Then it went downhill from there lol. But we got it done, and we get to go enjoy it this Fri.
A question Did you see Ringo In Atlantic City last summer. We were there and I thought I saw you walking down the center row before the concert. I also ran into Ringo after the concert outside of the casino. Then I won 1500 dollard playing blackjack, and bought a Gold record at one of the shops. John Lennons Imagine with the words to imagine ingraved on the 24 karot gold disc. It is on the wall of the trailer.

I could not post last year,(don't know why)or I would have asked if you were going, before the concert. And if the seats had not been so hard to get in and out of I would have tried to say hello. We stayed at a condo that was really near the concert and we found it was easier to cut through the casinos to get to the show instead of walking down the street or down the bordwalk. We went over to the Taj Mahal at lunch to check out where the show was and we saw the bus parked on the side as we went in. As we were leaving the concert we saw a door and Cathy said Ringo has to come out of that door. There was a black car in front of the buses after the show. And as soon as I thought to myself sure Ringo Starr is gonna walk out of that door he walked out. I had my small video camera in my pocket and never thought of getting it out as he walked to the car and gave us the peace sign. It was after he got in the car I thought I've got my camera in my pocket, but I did pull it out and start filming the car. I did get Ringo's peace sign from the car and a wave from a dressed up lady we assumed that it was Barbara and that they were going out for the remainder of the evening. We wished Ringo a Happy Birthday as the sirens lit up and the car pulled away. I do wish I could have caught you to say hello to you at the concert LL.

Re: welcome home

I had just lost a good friend about a month before the concert at the end of May. He died at the age 51 from lung cancer.I used to play guitar with him, he was the best guitar player that I ever played guiutar with, he was really remarkable. He was a local kid from Salter Path N.C. my beach island. I met him some years ago.I was actually at the beach when he passed. I got a call from a friend telling me the news and I didn't even know he was sick. But by chance I was there to go to the funeral. We didn't get to the beach alot last summer, but I was there for his passing. So I had been pretty down the whole month of June and then out walks Ringo. The highs and the lows of life, but I could not have run into Ringo at a better time.
