why don't the beatles acknowledge how much of their early style was due to this greatman here?
i think they totally mimicked him.not that he wasn't doing the same but his music was better than most around at the time.
the turtles were said to have been around in 65.any one hear this?

the things in this forum i love....i browse here when stressed more often the other places.this is a simple place.
i am sullen sure but is that why tony never made it to the top?i have a fine apprection for him.he just rocks......i think he needs to be inducted to the hall of fame.........

Bought and "import" in Liverpool in the 60's / early 70's that was:

T O N Y S H E R I D A N
with the Beatles


The jacket was all green, with white lettering.
There was no picture. Tony's name was huge lettering with The Beatles name in much smaller type.

Bought it near the Woolworths, the Barber Shop, and Penny Lane....

Have a Beat Brothers album bought in 1964 thinking it was that new group that had been on Ed Sullivan the night before. After learning of the error, went back the next day and got some other (non stereo) record called Meet the....
