Re: Reading & Reviewing Stories - Some Tips I think I wanna throw something outon this topic:
New stories are popping up constantly, and most of them are new writers *well new to us*. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO SAY A FEW NICE WORDS IF YOU CAN! I've noticed about the only people lately getting any feedback is the vets, which is all fine and good, but people join to get the same sort of feedback the 'experienced people' get. That's why I started posting here. Yeah we're all busy *ain't school a *****? LOL* but yeah, the standard Laur set is good: at least take 2 extra minutes to acknowledge the efforts.
Re: Reading & Reviewing Stories - Some Tips I actually agree with every word said in here. I'm here only for a quite short period of time, but I've been to other fic and fanfic forums, so I kinda know about this. It's really enerving not to get f/b at all, but it's even more enerving (4 me) to get a reply saying: "That was perfect!!! Update soon!!!" The best is to say WHY you liked the story and even quote some of its parts, and even the style of the writer; that's the correct F/B.
So, why don't we guys try and do what's suggested in here? It'll make our writer and reviewer lifes easier!!!
