Elijah had just set his foot on the bottom step, ready to make his way up to bed when there was knock on the door. Walking over he opened it and stood there in shock. “Dom?”

“Is she here, Lij? Please tell me she is here.”

Shaking his head, Elijah motioned for Dom to enter and sit down. “I’m sorry Dom. She’s not.”

Putting his head in hands, Dom began to shake and cry. “Where is she?”

Warring within himself, Elijah stood up and went to the window. “She asked us not to tell you.”

Standing up, Dom walked over next to him. “You have to.”

“We can’t Dom.”

Both men turned to see Lauren coming down the stairs. As soon as she heard Dom’s voice she made her way to save Elijah. He wanted to badly to make sure that Sienna was no where near Orlando that without backup, she was afraid that he would spill everything to Dom.

“Please Lauren. I need to make this right.”

“That may be true. But Sienna is doing something for herself for once. She is going to care of her and no one else. She had given so much of herself to everyone, and got nothing but **** back. Sienna is safe. And she will come home. Eventually. But not if we betray her. Someone has to be a friend to her and keep a promise. And it may be small, but we promised to keep her whereabouts a secret until she is ready to tell you herself. IF she is ever ready to do that.”

Hanging his head, Dom sighed. Every word that Lauren spoke was a knife to his heart. He knew he was one of those people that had given her ****. And Lauren was right. He needed to let her be. But he wasn’t sure he could.

“I love her.”

“You have a ****ty way of showing it Monaghan.”

Dom looked up at Elijah and nodded. “I know.”

When Sienna’s plane landed, she smiled. It had taken her months to get used to the time differences and now she had to do it all over again. Grabbing her bag from the overhead compartment, she took a deep breath and headed off the plane. By this time, Orlando should have received her letter. And she hoped to God that he honored her request to leave her alone, till she got settled. She promised to let him know when she was ready to see him. Or anyone else besides Sam. Who should be waiting to pick her up.

The ride to her house was quiet. But a good quiet. Sam had screamed and hugged and screamed her excite some more before taking off, but then they settled into conversation. But Sienna did not want to talk about Orlando or Dom for the moment. She just wanted to get her bearings and get settled before she gave the complete four-one-one on her life. Sam knew the basics. And knew enough that, she too, thought that maybe running away to England was not the best idea.

Maybe it wasn’t. But it was the only one she had. The lesser of two evils as it were. Or maybe it was like Elijah said. Jumping from the frying pan to fire. Who knows. But Sienna knew something had to change in her life. And soon.

“Do you want some Pepsi?” Sam asked as she set Sienna’ bag down inside the door. And then laughed at the look on her face.

“Actually, Lan sent a case over. With this.” Sam handed her a letter.

Taking the letter, she sat down at the kitchen table and held it in her hand looking at her name written in familiar handwriting. The reply to her twenty page letter, telling everything that happened, leading her to come back to England. She figured he wouldn’t have time to reply before she left.

“Thanks. Want one?”

Sam shook her head. “No. I actually have to be going. I told them I would still come into work for a couple hours.”

Smiling, Sienna stood up and hugged her. “That’s Ok. I think I would rather be alone for a little bit anyways. Clear my head. Think about what to do next.”

“Ok. If you need anything call me.”

“I will. Love you Sam.”

“Love you too, Sis.”

After Sam closed the door, Sienna grabbed the letter and a can of Pepsi and headed out onto the patio. Where she surrounded by memories. Of Adi swimming in the pool. Orlando sunning himself on one of the chairs. Shaking her head, she sat down and opened the letter and her can of soda.

Ok girls..don't know if anyone remembers me..or this story..or even cares anymore..lol...

anyspit..i have reread When Love and Hate Collide...(four years ago I wrote that..jeeeeezzz) and am printing this out so I can take it with me and start working on it again..it's been over a year so I need to get a feel for my characters again.

Hope you all will still read it!!
