Note to reader: I’m taking Hannah completely out of this fan-fic. It’s too hard for me to try coming up with stuff with her that’s not so cheesy. So… I’m just going on.

Chapter 5

Part 1
Back at Dom’s house…

Orlando was laying on his belly in bed. The sun wasn’t even showing through the big windows so it felt like it was still early morning. Orlando realized that his whole body was burning in heat and his head felt like… he couldn’t describe it… that sick feeling, you know when you can’t ever breath through your nose? Oh God, I feel awful. Orlando thought to himself. Then all of a sudden he felt something jump up on the bed and lick Orlando’s face. It was Sidi. Orlando started to make a funny face and laugh as Sidi started to snog Orlando’s nose and mouth. “Alright, alight, I’m a wake Sidi!” Orlando said opening his eyes and sitting up. He realized that he was in the guest room at Dom’s house. Then it struck him as to why… “Oh, Sidi… I should just forget about her right?” Orlando asked as he scratched Sidi behind his ears. Sidi, in response to the question let out a small whimper and nudged Orlando’s belly and laid on his side as if to say “It’s okay, I love you and am on your side.” Orlando smiled at this. “Come on Sidi. Let’s get you something to eat and I’ll put you out side after.”

Orlando and Sidi got up and went down stairs. Orlando went into his carry-on bag and took out a small package of food he brought for Sidi and put it into a bowl and got out another bowl for his water. While Sidi ate, Orlando read the note that Dom left him. Orlando decided to give Dom a call once he realized that he had been sleeping sense 2 PM. Dom should be on break by now, right? Orlando thought to himself. His head hurt so much when he was standing. I need soup, garlic would really help… a lot , cold medicine, Tylenol, tissues… He thought to himself. Picking up the wireless phone, Orlando let Sidi out before dialing Dom’s cell phone number and laid down on the hammock that was outside in the fenced-in backyard.

North Shore…

During the filming break, Dom and I went to the make-up area so I could get his make-up off… Dom didn’t have enough patience to do this himself…and it made him feel girly if he did. “Dom, it isn’t hard to take this stuff off you know!” I said to Dom as I pulled him down into the chair. I started to take Dom’s make-up off when all of a sudden his cell started to ring.

“Hey Orli, what’s up? How are you feeling?” Dom asked with concern. He kept rambling on and on to whoever it was that he was talking to. I tried not to listen in to conversations. I took the witch hazel and dabbed some on Dom’s face with a cotton ball getting the make-up off. I was noticing the features of his face and envied how almost perfect his skin was. “Do you want me to go get you medicine? How bad is the cough?” I realized Dom was talking to Orlando… I hate prying into conversations, but I did here him say Orlando. “It sounds like you got yourself a cold man… you got yourself sick all because of Kate!” there was a pause, “Don’t give me that bull Orli, man… you know it. Listen, Orli, I’m gonna bring Donna with me,” he said looking over at me. Me! Why me… what? Did I volunteer for something? Do what?! My eyes widened as I looked at Dom and turned away so he couldn’t see me blush. Damn! “she’s gonna buy some stuff to make soup and buy some medicine and make you all better, okay man?” Dom said. I’m gonna die! After Dom hung up with Orlando I came out of the trailer next to us.

“Dominic Bernard Patrick Luke Monaghan! What the **** is wrong with you!?” I yelled at him in sheer embarrassment. I had my hands over my face ready to cry.

“Oh, come on Donna, love. He really wants to meet you.”

“Why would Orlando Bloom want to meet me?”

“Becauseitoldhimyoursingle” Dom said in a mumble. I had no idea what he said.

“Dom, what?” I had my hands on my hips.

“I told him,” Dom breathed slowly, “that you’re single.” Dom said with a guilty look on his face.

“I thought… wait… how did you know? Huh?” I was confused as to how Dom knew and a little angry he told Orlando. I mean, hello… as far as I know, Kate and Orlando are still together, not officially broken up.
“JJ told me you are single and I figured that…” I cut him off.

“JJ!! Get you arse here now!” I said angry. He walked over laughing.

“Yes?” he asked innocently.

“Why did you tell Dom here that I am single?”

“Because… I don’t know. I was describing you and that popped out of my mouth. It’s a good thing right?” J.J. asked looking at me, then Dom. Dom nodded with a cheeky grin.

“Oh, shut up Monaghan.” I said looking at him.

“But it is… I’ve got your sis lined up to meet Orlando within the next couple hours.” Dom said with his arm over my shoulder talking to J.J.

J.J. smiled and left me a lone with Dom. “Come on, let’s go.” I said to Dom as I got my stuff and we headed off to Dom’s car. It looked like there were dark clouds forming in the sky. I knew that the chances of it really raining were slim, but still it looked bad. We buckled up and headed to Honolulu, it would be best to go to a grocery store much closer to Dom’s house. “The clouds are looking bad anyways, we should really start heading back to Honolulu.” I said looking up at the bluish gray ski.

Dom and I went into the little grocery store together. We thought no one would recognize Dom… especially if some other women other than Evie was with him. Of course Evie knew that the reason why Dom went in with me was to find everything that I needed to make a home-made chicken soup, and of course, to find the medicine Orlando needed to feel better. We left and headed over to Dom’s house that was down the street and off into a little neighborhood… somewhere no one would ever think to find a celebrity. I was surprised. “This is my neighborhood.” He sighed while turning left to another smaller street slowing down for the kids.

Re: When I'm Brave Enough~ PG to PG-13

Part 2
“Looks friendly enough.” I said smiling, and looking at the little kids playing in the front yards. Some kids were playing, who looked like one was 5 and the other one was 8 maybe. They noticed Dom’s car. He started to slow down a bit more. They ran over to see us. “Hey Tommy and Chris!” Dom said waving at them as they came. They were excited to see Dom.

“Dom!” They screamed. One of them, the older one, gave Dom a high five.

“Hey, Donna… this is Tommy” Dom said pointing to the one that gave him a high five, “and this is Chris.” He said pointing to the other one who waved at me.

“Dom, isn’t Evie gonna be mad that you are with another woman?” Tommy said in a high pitched tone. I blushed and Dom laughed a little shaking his head.

“No Tommy, Donna is just a friend. I forgot something at home and I had to come get it before going back to set and I wanted to show Donna my house.” Dom said, trying to make the situation sound more easier for them to understand. They both gave a smile.

“Oh, okay.” Tommy said, “Dom, can we come over tomorrow and play in your pool?” He said with wide brown eyes. Dom chuckled.

“We will see. I’ve got to go though… I’ll see you guys latter, okay?” Dom asked them in a soft tone.

“Okay, aloha Dom, and aloha Donna!” They both said at the same time. We waved and drove off to the house. The house wasn’t as huge as some may expect but it was big. The house was white with a wooden porch that went around half way and has a big white fence that surrounds the backyard.
“This is beautiful.” I said as I helped Dom bring the groceries into the foyer. Dom closed the large mahogany door softly behind us.

“Thanks,” Dom said placing the groceries on the large navy blue granite-top island in the middle of the kitchen. “I found this house for sale about three or four months after I moved here to film Lost,” we started to take everything out of the bags, “so it was great timing.” After we were finished Dom gave me a tour of the house, “ I hope we can find Orlando while I give you this tour.” Dom said as we walked up stairs.

“For all I know, Orlando might be outside.” I said trying not to sound nervous knowing I would meet Orlando. We went into Dom’s room, “Wow, this is awesome!” I said looking out his large windows facing the ocean. The ski cleared up on this side of the island, so it looked beautiful.

“Yeah, it’s the best room in this house.” Dom said smiling, looking out the window with his hands in his pockets. I hope she likes Orlando. It would be sad if Donna is not the one for Orlando. I can already tell he will love Donna. Dom thought to himself looking over at me, I could feel it.

“What?” I said in defense. Dom looked back out to the ocean by the time I noticed, blushing a bit.

“Nothing.” Dom said shaking his head. I rolled my eyes as if to say “fine…whatever.” Dom showed me his guest room. I could tell someone, maybe Orlando was staying in it. His luggage was spread everywhere and clothes in piles. “Oh, this is where Orlando is staying, as you can tell.“ Dom said scratching his head. “This is the guest room.”

All I could say was, “nice… and you can see out to the ocean hear too.” I said as I walked over to the balcony. We headed back downstairs and walked over to the living room and dinning room. I saw the backyard and hammock on the porch with a big in-ground swimming pool. I saw someone on the hammock sleeping and what looked like Sidi running around with a ball in the yard. “I think Orlando is out there.” I said looking out side the sliding-glass doors. Dom’s eyes lit up.

“Why yes,” Dom said as we walked quietly over to the door. Orlando was sleeping with the sun beaming on his face and in nothing but navy blue silky boxers. Dom looked over at me and then started to write something down on a pad of paper. Orlando didn’t look like he has been working out lately as I notice his chest and barely there six-pack. But that didn’t really matter… extra love to hold on to, as I say. He looked so comfortable and peaceful… much like in that poster of him in that white t-shirt and laying on the white pillow. “Listen, since Orlando is sleeping, why don’t I leave him a note next to him so he knows you’re here when he wakes up and you can start making him soup in the kitchen.” Dom said writing more and then wrote on another paper. “Here is my cell number, and if anything happens, call me.” He said giving me the paper and slowly yet quietly left the note next to Orlando. Lando, as I wanted to call him, didn’t budge as Dom moved swiftly from outside and back in. “I’ll let you get settled in for now, okay?” Dom said as we walked back to the kitchen.

“Sounds good to me.” I said with a smile knowing this would be tough, taking care of the man that I looked up to who was obviously in a lot of pain from a broken heart. Dom left, giving me a kiss on the cheek. I blushed and put my hand where he kissed me, like a school girl… or worse.

“Take care, love and make sure that Orlando gets better,” he said getting in his car. “This is nothing like Orlando…” he said worriedly.

“Don’t worry about a thing!” I yelled out to Dom.

“I’ll be back around 10...maybe 2 AM at the latest.” Dom said before he left for good.

I walked back inside and took a deep breath knowing that I’ll have to talk to Orlando at some point today. What do I say to him? Hey, I think your sexy and Dom told me to take care of you? No way… well I might as well think about it as I’m cutting here… I said to myself cutting up the garlic first. “Here it goes…one chicken soup for a sick sexy man coming right up!” I said out loud as I started to cut up some carrots next. I looked out side the sliding glass doors. Sleeping peacefully… like a baby… Come on Donna, be brave enough to talk to him when he wakes up, you can do it! I sighed as I got the chicken stock into the pot and boiled the vegetables.

Chapter 6
After I got the water in the pot to boil on the stove for the soup’s pasta, I looked up at the sliding glass window when I opened a box of macaroni. When living in Hawaii, you learn that it can be completely beautiful outside without a cloud in the sky and then the next moment, it is raining. Well, that’s what was happening now. In fact, I realized what it was that got my attention to look up that way towards the backyard. Sidi was whining and pawing at the glass door to get my attention to let him and Orlando in. By the time I got to the door I realized that Orlando was still asleep and was getting soaked by the rain along with Sidi.

I grabbed a couple of towels and let Sidi in first as he pounced me. I could have sworn Sidi was saying “thank you” in dog language. “Hey boy! Good Sidi.” I said as I quickly dried him off, “Go get some food over there.” I said to him as I pointed to his water bowl and food bowl next to the kitchen counter. I turned on the heater system right before I went outside to go get Orlando. I was very unsure of how to wake him. Orlando’s sleeping form looked so peaceful and comfortable. All of a sudden he started to twitch as if having a bad nightmare. I decided to wake him at this moment, but very cautiously, “Orlando, sweetie, wake up,” I said giving him a nudge on his shoulders and then moving his long brown locks from his sweating forehead. “Your having a nightmare and it’s raining.” Orlando’s eyelids finally opened, revealing the most beautiful big brown eyes I’ve ever seen. I faintly smiled, but that quickly disappeared as I realized that Orlando was in pain when he started to moan.

“Ahhg!” Orlando screamed as he attempted to get up from the hammock. “My back is killing me!” He said sitting back down. I got an idea as I quickly thought of how to get Orlando inside.

“Hold on to me.” I said calmly as I wrapped Orlando’s arm around my shoulder and pulled him up, “I’ve got you, don’t worry. Let’s get you in.” I said getting Orlando inside and shut the door closed as the rain started to pore down harder. I started to dry of his hair and wrapped the towel around Orlando’s shivering body that barely stood over me even though I’m small. “Are you okay now?” I asked, worried about Orlando’s back. I rubbed his back soothingly. Orlando nodded quietly assuring that he felt better being inside. “Here,” I said giving Orlando a pair of sweat paints and a dry towel walking with him to the bathroom, “take a nice hot shower and I’ll have some hot chicken soup ready for you when you get out.” I said with a warm smile.

Orlando walked in and when he was about to close the door he whispered “thank you,” with a smile.

“Your welcome, it should help your back.” I said smiling back at him. “By the way, I’m Donna.” I said warmly. As a surprise to me, Orlando took my right hand into his soft cold ones and gently kissed the top of my knuckles.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Love.” He said closing the door. Once I heard the water running I leaned my head back on the wall and my body slowly slid down as I went into a fan girl trans. All of a sudden I remembered the boiling water and ran back to the kitchen. Luckily, I saved the boiling water and poured the pasta in. I smiled a goofy grin as I ran my left hand fingers over the spot on my right hand where Orlando’s lips had been.

Re: When I'm Brave Enough~ PG to PG-13

Chapter 6- Part 2

I was just getting ready to put pasta into the bowl I had set out for Orlando’s soup when I heard his sweet voice echo through the hall, “Donna, Love?” I could hear slight panic in his voice. But, I did my best to help Orlando in any way I could since he does have a cold.

“Yes, Orlando? Do you need any help?” I said walking towards the bathroom door. Orlando’s head peaked through the door. He looked too adorable with his hair matted to his face and wet brown curls around his ears.

“Yeah,” he said taking a deep breath as our eyes met, “could you get me a towel please?” he asked in a begging tone and giving me his puppy eyes. Lord, help me, he’s too adorable!

“I’ll be right back.” I said giving Orlando a wink. I skipped over to Dom’s laundry room and found clean towels. I took two large towels and stuffed them into the drier to heat them up. A nice warm towel always helps me when I’m sick, it should work for Orlando. I walked back to Orlando to tell him what I was doing. “I just put the towels into the drier so their nice and warm, okay Lando?” I said smiling and walked away to get the towels and pajamas.

“Thank you, Love…” He said after I lightly knocked on the door. Orlando dried off and put on a t-shirt and pajama pants that I also got for him. When he was done, he peaked his head out, hair still wet and curly “do you think… could I…” Orland seemed lost in his words. His eyes showed nothing but pain, heartbreak and sadness… I began to worry knowing I could very well be in the same boat as him as I find myself lost in words often. Orlando’s eyes started to drift to the ground and I heard a slight sniffle, as if Orlando was trying to hold back tears.

“What’s is it Lando?” I asked while he look down onto the carpet floor. He looked back up after a minute or so into my eyes that were full of concern and love. I knew what was going on in his beautiful head. I knew that Kate was the one that caused this pain to be in Orlando. She broke his heart and Orlando can’t seem to fix the broken pieces. It would be a bold move, but I knew I should volunteer to help him mend his broken heart. “Lando…” I said softly, walking up closer to him. I hesitated to lift my hand to his heated and red left cheek, “ come here…” I said as I slowly took him into a loving embrace. I immediately felt Orlando release his tears and a sigh of relief. “It’s okay, everything will be fine.” I said rubbing his back. I had my nose against his neck and I realized Orlando’s hair smelt like coconuts. I rested my lips against his neck, his skin was soft and tan like oak wood that was just sanded to the smoothest it could be. I realized what I had just done and quickly backed away but still kept contact with him. What the heck were you thinking? I asked myself not knowing the answer. “Come with me to the couch and I’ll get you your soup and medicine and we can talk, okay?” I said softly yet assertive. Orlando nodded and took my hand as I brought him to the comfortable couch and sat him down. I took a couple pillows from the closet and warm blankets and brought them to Orlando. “Just lay back and relax.” I told him as I put some pillows behind Orlando’s head and laid the blankets over his luke-warm body.

“Why do you care for me so much?” Orlando said softly as I bent over to give him his medicine. I sat down in the small area that was open between his arms and legs on the couch to be closer. I thought about my answer that I would give him.

“Because I want to…” I simply stated, “ I don’t think anyone should be treated as badly as you haven been treated…” I said brushing away hair from his beautiful face as we both smiled, “I want to help you get better as quickly as possible.” I poured some of the red liquid into a small cup and put the bottle down. As I moved the cup to Orlando’s face his smile turned into a look of fright, similar to a child who doesn’t want medicine. I don’t blame him one bit. “Come on Lando,” I said sadly, “please?” I asked pleadingly, “You only have to take this stuff twice a day… that’s it… until your all better.” I said reassuringly. Orlando scoffed.

“Fine then.” He stated with a very soft voice, barely audible and a pout. He took the red liquid in and swallowed quickly and gave me a disgusted look. I smiled at my victory.

“Good boy, I’ll be right back with you soup too.” I said giving him a kiss on his forehead as I got up. I returned to the spot I was in and put the soup down to help Orlando sit up a little more. “There you go,” I said smiling. I took the soup in the bowl and blew lightly at the spoonful I had in my hand so as to make sure the soup wasn’t too hot. “Open up,” I said as I hand fed Orlando.

Orlando took the soup into his mouth and smiled after letting the taste stay in his mouth, “Thank you,” his said. I gave him another spoonful, “this has got to be the best chicken soup I’ve ever had,” I smiled at his kind words, “Did you make this?”

“Yeah,” I said blushing a deep crimson red, like a tomato, “and made with all fresh ingredients.” I told him as I kept feeding the soup to him until it was all gone. I helped Orlando lie back down and rearrange the pillows so he was more comfortable lying down. “Okay, it’s time for you to get some rest, okay?” I said tucking Orlando in. Orlando smiled weakly and his eyes met mine once again when his hand grabbed mine. His hand was soft and I didn’t want to let go, the sensation felt all too good.

Orlando looked up at me, “can you stay…” he looked down at his feet, “hear, with me?” I smiled. I couldn’t tell if he was just saying that so he could later on say that he slept with me or what. I found it strange that he already took a liking to me. I mean, I’m not complaining, but the fact that he is showing the same emotions back at me as I’m giving him… scares me. I’m battling with mixed emotions now and I have no idea what I should do because the men I’ve known in the past have all been players, playing with my heart and my emotions. Which is why I never really learned to enjoy the love that another man showed me because I feared it wasn’t real. I never really was brave enough to truly love another man or to believe he truly loved me back. I don’t want to be hurt again.

I smiled at Orlando and crawled under the blankets on the other side of the same couch. “When we wake up, we need to talk...” I said rubbing his toes in my hand. Orlando responded with a hmm… as I drifted off to sleep snuggling my life-size teddy bear, Orlando.

Re: When I'm Brave Enough~ PG to PG-13

Chapter 7 Part 1
Third person narrative

About an hour after both Orlando and I were asleep, Dom came home from working on set. It was barely past 11 PM and he was tired. As soon as Dom pulled into the driveway he wondered how Orlando was feeling. JJ canceled the welcome dinner that night since his sister was taking care of Orlando. Dom was thinking that if Orlando was feeling pretty good by now, maybe he would want to go out for a drink at a small pub. But, Dom felt his eyes get heavy when he turned the key to his house and decided going to sleep now would be best. Dom was greeted by the smell of garlic and herbs when he walked in.
He looked over in the kitchen and realized that Donna had made chicken soup that just sat there on the stove top. He decided to cover the pot of soup and put it into the fridge. That’s when he saw a sight that… well, oddly made him think of children… the way they sleep, and the way he and Billy portrayed Merry and Pippin in the forest when they fell asleep. He walked quietly over to the couch to see the two sleeping forms snuggled up together under the blankets and Sidi sleeping on top of them as if on guard duty. He was happy to see both sleeping soundly, but even more surprised that Orlando was sleeping so soundly. It seemed as though the thought of ever seeing Orlando happy again, with another girl would be hopeless, seeing that his romance with Kate seemed like it would lead into marriage after being together for four years straight. Dom left the room smiling to himself as he quietly went upstairs to his room for the night.

The next morning, Dom woke up, bright and early, once again. He let Sidi outside in the back yard and left the house around 5 AM to go back to the set. When he arrived, he told JJ that it looks like Donna is going to need another week off to take care of Orlando. Dom knew that it was going to be slow, and would take time, but that a romance was blossoming in his home. He could feel it and was happy that he and Evie played match-maker. He saw Evie in the make-up trailer, “Hey Evie,” he said with a smile, “how’s your morning?” He asked, giving her a kiss on the cheek and then brushed off the makeup that smudged on his lips. Evie laughed looking in her mirror to check if he left a smudge.

“Pretty good until you came in and ruined my make-up.” She playfully hissed at him, “Thank you very much.”

“Well, your welcome…” Dom said bowing to her as if waiting for an applaud for a performance. His eyes brightened as he looked up at Evie, “and just so you know, Miss. Match-maker,” Dom said sitting down in front of Evie on the sand, “our plan of matching them together worked… as far as I can see.” He smiled and suddenly looked like he was questioning or pondering over something in his mind.

“Why do you say that? What happened?” Evie asked, oblivious to what was going on at Dom’s house since Donna hasn’t called her. But, Evie knew that Orlando had a way about him that would make any girl forget about any outside activities and forgave Donna for not calling. But, Evie was still concerned especially after Dom said, “…as far as I can see.”

Dom looked down at the off-white sand that covered his toes, “I came home last night to the cutest scene. Both Orlando and Donna laying, asleep there on the couch opposite each other, snuggled under blankets and Sidi sleeping on top of them.” He said looking up at Evie with a smile and his eyes glossy, “I woke up this morning and they were still there, sleeping…”

Evie’s jaw dropped as she listened to the details that Dom was telling her. She couldn’t help but smile at the image that the details brought to her mind, “Aww…” she said, her eyes looking hopeful, “that is so cute!” Evie squealed and clapped her hands in triumph.
Dom’s house…

The sun was rising as the light beamed into the living room where Donna, Orlando and Sidi slept.

Donna’s POV
My eye’s fluttered open and closed again as I subconsciously moaned in horror that the sun was in my face as I woke up. Ya know, if God made the sun not so bright, may be I would be happy right now. I said to myself as I stretched and felt something at my feet… something warm and soft to the touch. I rubbed my foot softly against it as I tried to remember where I was and what this object was in my bed. I remembered I was at Dom’s house and figured I was on the couch and that this object was Sidi. “Sidi” moved away and I left him alone not bother the dog. I decided to slowly open my eyes and realized I had wrapped my right arm around two big feet and hugged them against my chest as if keeping them warm. I knew it was impossible for these feet to be mine. My feet were milk-toast white and just about half the size of these feet. Then who’s are they? I slowly lifted myself up and looked over towards my feet and to my surprise and lack of memory, Orlando was there, sleeping like a baby bunched up under the blankets. I smiled quietly and tried to get up to go to the bathroom with out waking him. When I reached to the downstairs bathroom I noticed the clock on the stove said 10:28 AM. Well, 10:30… I guess I really needed the sleep!

I came back to the couch. I wasn’t as tired any more and decided this was my chance to study Orlando. I noticed that his long brown locks were in his face and I sat down next to him on the floor. I lifted my hand to brush the long locks from his eyes… his skin, oh how I have wanted perfect skin like Orlando’s. Not a blemish was formed on any part of his face. I've always had acne problems, but I've have a good handle on it. Until, my time of the month... everything goes wrong with my skin. Orlando's eyes… those eyelashes that drive me wild. They were long and full, as if they naturally had mascara on. I rested my left hand on Orlando’s long, curly hair as I stopped brushing my fingers through the strands wanting to not wake him up. I looked lower to his solemn, peaceful lips. They were like my own, slim on the top and semi-full on the bottom… I guess it was because of our common Italian lineage. They were partially open, barely showing his perfect white teeth, they looked so… so… kissable. Wait a second… I thought to myself, I can’t be thinking about that right now! Orlando is sick and I need to make sure he feels comfortable and rested… the poor thing… damnit! Now I need to take a cold shower… uuuaahga!

When I got out of the shower, I went into Dom’s room where I saw my bag of clothes he brought for me from Evie’s house. I forgot to call Evie! I sighed, I’ll call her later… I changed into some clean, comfortable, sweat pants and one of my old Backstreet Boys touring t-shirts. I came back into the living room and nothing changed. Orlando was still asleep. What did this girl do to him? I asked myself, I mean, what in her right mind was she thinking… to make this wonderful, caring man think she was in love with him and then rip his heart out, break it into a million pieces and then stomp on it like dirt on a baseball field… who does that? A careless, selfish, cold-hearted witch with a ‘b’, that’s who! I walked over to Orlando and softly brushed his hair with my hand and leaned down to his ear, “ Lando, sweetie, it’s time to get up…” he turned and squirmed like a child who doesn’t want to go to school. But, Orlando surprises me just when I thought he was waking up.

“But, Mummy… I don’t wanna go… everyone makes fun of me.” He whined in his sleep. Oh, Lord, Orlando was talking in his sleep, having a bad dream. What he said reminded me so much of when I was back in elementary school, getting made fun of because I was quiet and reserved… not like the other children in school. It took me a long time to get over it… my heart went out to Orlando, we have something in common, and it’s nothing trivial, it’s something serious. I tried again to wake him.

“Lando, your having a bad dream… please wake up.” I said still brushing his hair and softly planted my first kiss on his forehead. I quickly moved away as I realized that Orlando woke up and looked up at me, not saying a word, sadness in his eyes and he looked down as he lifted himself up on his arm to sit up. All of a sudden, his face showed pain as he moaned and leaned back down. I quickly propped him up and sat where his head laid and took the pillows propping them on my lap and had Orlando lean up against them for support as I rubbed his sides. “Are you okay?” I asked, nervous of what his answer would be. His big mocha colored eyes looked up into my dark blue ones, all I saw was pain within their beauty.

“I’m fine now, thanks…” he said, taking a deep breath in, “my dream must have triggered my spine to…” he lost his words, “ I came home from something…” his eyes looked blood-shot and tears started to form over his lower eyelashes, “and I opened the door, next thing I knew she was chasing me with a knife saying she would kill me…” Orlando said leaning in towards me, grabbing onto the t-shirt I was wearing and started to sob. It was painful to watch him cry, so painful that I started to cry also. I tried to stop myself, but of course I knew my PMS would start to come any day now… sad stories like this one was not going to help the symptoms.

Re: When I'm Brave Enough~ PG to PG-13

Here's the rest of part 1 of chapter 7
...

I wrapped my arms around his body, holding him close, “It’s going to be okay Lando. Shh… baby. Calm down sweetie, everything is going to be alright.” I said kissing his head, “I won’t let anything hurt you.”

After what seemed like hours of cradling Orlando’s soft, limp body, he finally spoke through some sniffles, “I just wish I had never fallen for her, you know?”

“Yeah, I know…” I said lying… no guy has ever loved me back the way I loved them, “but that’s how you learn… from your mistakes.” I said with a small smile, “believe me, you are a lot better of than I am.”

Orlando perked up a little, showing interest in what I was saying… which was true, by the way… no lies this time. “What do you mean I’m a lot better off than you?” Concern written on his face.

“At least you had a girlfriend that gave you attention,” I said looking into his deep brown eyes, I looked away, out the window when I said my next thought, “ I’ve never had a boyfriend, never been kissed… nothing.” I said in shame.

Orlando looked at me quizzically, “Never… how can that be? Your pretty.” I couldn’t believe I was saying this to a guy and in my opinion, the most attractive, beautiful man I have ever laid eyes on. I blushed at my thoughts when I looked back at his brown eyes and closed my eyes.

“I’m 23, and nothing has happened yet. I’m still as shy as I was when I was 12 and I think that has something to do with it…” Just then, my mind processed what Orlando said… Did he,… nooo, no way… I’m not going to believe it, I was dreaming! Orlando Bloom did not just tell me I’m pretty. Or did he? Great, I was just blushing over what I said and not even thinking what Orlando just said to me. I bet he thinks I blushed in response to his comment. “Wait a second, what did you just say? Were you for real?” I asked completely unsure of what just happened.

He sighed and his lips formed a small smile that warmed my hart, “yeah, I mean it…” he said lifting his right hand and brushing it against my left forearm and then to my reddened cheek, “I really think you’re pretty. I’m not just saying it.” I smiled as he lifted my left hand and brought it to his soft lips lightly brushing my palm with them. I didn’t say anything… my lips were incapable of moving as my brain was in shock and had no idea how to comprehend what just happened. Orlando put my hand down onto his chest, “ My back still hurts a bit…” he looked like he was trying to come up with the courage to ask me something, “ do you think you could give me a massage?” I smiled as I helped him up and sat him on the rug on the floor in front of me. I realized my lips could move again.

“Of course I can.” Did that sound like I was desperate? I think so. “… and what about these locks of yours?” I asked with my hands in his long chocolate curls, “you know, a hair cut always helps me feel better when I’m having a bad day.” Orlando looked up at me and smiled as if to say yes.

Chapter 7~ Part 2

“Alright,” I said giving Orlando a smile, “I’ll be back. I’m going to get some things and your medicine.” I got up to leave when I heard Orlando.

“Please no medicine…” he whined, “I feel better.” I didn’t want to look behind me, afraid Orlando might be giving me the puppy eyed treatment… that worked.

I resisted and said as I kept walking, “Just until tomorrow. I want to make sure you are all better.” I came back to the couch with a comb, light conditioner spray bottle, a couple hand towels, scissors, and medicine, “Okay, I’m back.” I said when I realized that Orlando wasn’t wearing his shirt any more as it laid there next to him on the floor. I took in the site for a moment as I came back to reality and sat down behind Orlando as he faced the television, sitting down Indian style in his pajamas. He looked… amazing, I couldn’t think of a better word at the moment. That’s when I realized I was staring and I blushed.

“Are you okay there, Love?” He could read the New York City phone book to me and I would think I was in Heaven. He called me Love… Oh, God please help me.

I gave, I should say attempted to give, Orlando his medicine. Once he swallowed, I put the cup down on the coffee table and rubbed my right hand on his chest and kissed his head, “Good boy. Now, do you want a massage first, or the hair cut?” I asked, leaning back to stretch.

“Hmm… back massage sounds good right about now…” he softly smiled, “should I turn on the television?” he asked as I started to work my hands into his soft, tanned shoulders and collar bones.

“Yeah, sure.” I said, having nothing else to say… until I hear a soft moan shudder from his lips. “Does that feel good?”

“Oh, yeah…” in a whispered tone, “more towards the neck…” he said tilting his head from side to side as I moved my hands over to the middle, “that feels gooooood.” I could tell his muscles were tensed. I knew of his accident from ten years ago and that in the one book that I own about him, he said in the past that the pain in his spine comes back once in a while. I saw the long scar that went straight down his spine. It felt pain in my heart just looking at it, knowing that I could never imagine how much pain he went through those days from the accident to the surgery and the weeks and months of recovery. I tried my best to rid his pain without making a fool of myself. “Where did you learn to do this?” Orlando asked as I kept loosening his muscles. He bent forward so I could get to his spine. I worked my fingers trying to find the right places to put pressure. That was difficult considering I’ve never really took any classes in massage therapy and have never worked with anyone with spinal injury or any type of injury before this. That’s when I started to question if what I was doing to his spine really helped. Then I realized he asked me a question.

I blushed, “Oh, my mom had me give her back massages and she told me I should seriously think about making it a career, no matter how small my hands were.” I looked at my hands, they were relatively small compared to most female hands… but they were strong, perfect for giving massages.

Then I realized that Orlando took his right hand and gently placed it on top of my left, looking over at it, “They are small…” he paused, “but cute would be a better word.” Dear Lord help me! I stopped massaging his back.

“Lando, please stop trying to flatter me… you’re an actor and I know you are flattering me because you think I want you to, but really…” he cut me off as he sat up and knelt on the floor turning around to face me. Orlando took his right hand and placed his pointer finger on my lips to stop me from speaking and had his left hand on top of my right leg. I sat there wondering what his next move would be. I started to get nervous and my hands were getting sweaty. I could feel the heat rising in my body and I knew my right ear was probably red already. That ear always got red whenever I get nervous, never knew why though. And of course… I knew without a doubt that my chest was full of hives already. Damn hives… they were always a product of my nervousness… especially when ever I was around a guy I found attractive. Once again, I knew my time of month was going to come soon… hormones in my body were out of control… and Orlando being in the same room with me was not helping.

His beautiful big brown eyes were locked with my deep blue ones as he leaned in closer to me, inches apart as he moved his right hand from my lips to my left cheek, softly brushing my pale, semi-acne-scared skin, “Love, if I was acting, would I do this?” he asked quietly and softly like music to my ears. He move slowly, a little hesitant and tilted his head to the side as his soft lips brushed over mine. I had no idea what to do, except for what I’ve seen in movies. I took my hands and wrapped them around Orlando’s neck to pull him closer and softly kissed him back. I felt his tongue lightly graze my lips as he kissed again and I wanted to give into it but had no idea how to, so I kissed him back again and pulled away softly. “What’s wrong?” He asked as if hurt. I could see it in his eyes. I kept him in my embrace.

“I thought I told you I’ve never been kissed before? I mean I’ve watched kissing scenes in movies… I’ve seen you kiss on screen…” I blushed and looked down to the carpet, “and to be honest, I’ve never really understood how people…” I looked back into his eyes and then looked out the window, still afraid of eye contact, “what do you call it… snog?” I asked and he giggled looking down and then back into my eyes.

“It’s okay Love,” he stated as I blushed in embarrassment, “I can teach you…” I had my eyes closed and my head down. Orlando lifted his right hand to my chin, tilting my face up with a finger, “if you let me.” I silently and slowly nodded in agreement as he positioned my mouth, lips, and head in a comfortable position as he leaned back in, “Are you ready?” he asked with a smile of reassurance.

“Yeah, yeah I am.” I said licking my lips and smiled as I nervously waited. I closed my eyes as his lips got closer to my lips. I felt the warm surge again as our lips met and it felt good. Orlando slowly sat up on the couch and leaned me back against the pillows as his hands roamed my back. His hands slowly went towards my chest, but when he realized I didn’t have a bra on he hesitated and his hands went to my back again. While doing so, my arms were still wrapped around his neck and I kept my right hand in his hair as I kissed back. He pulled me in closer as he deepened the kiss and begged for access into my mouth once again. I slowly remembered what his showed me to do and repeated it. Orlando’s tongue softly grazed my teeth as it entered. Our tongues met and I didn’t want it to end, it just felt right for them to dance together in the passionate kiss. I then realized that I needed to get air and slowly closed my sore mouth to let Orlando know we needed a break. I sighed and breathed in a couple breaths before speaking again, “wow” was all I could say and comprehend at the moment. Both of us giggled. I knew I would have to tell Orlando my feelings for him eventually since we just kissed. I thought about it, I really do love this man. If I denied it now, God would punish me to no end for the rest of my life and I would never find another man who shows as much love to me as Orlando does. So, I went with my gut feeling, “Orlando, I have to tell you something…” I said wrapping my arms around his neck as I sat up and rested my head against his chest, I looked back up into his warm eyes, “and I don’t want to lie… I love you.”

Orlando looked at me with a mocked shock expression on his face and smiled, “Well duh! I could have told you that!” he said hugging me close and kissed my forehead.

“Was it that obvious?” I asked seriously, yet I worried about his answer. He looked deep into my eyes.

“With a kiss like that you gave me, it was as if you said ‘I love you’ in another language.” I smiled at his complement and looked down to his chest. “Believe me, Love, you have shown me more love and concern within the past 24- hours that we have met than I think Kate has shown me in a month…” I was taken back by his words, trying to comprehend what he was saying, or at least trying to tell me. Then the mere thought of Kate crossed my mind. Where was she? Did she even care where her Orlando was? What about Fiona? Where was she and did she know where Orlando was? Orlando took me back to reality with a statement “I’ve got a secrete to tell you.” He said with a serious face.

“What would that be?”

“You have to guess… and I‘ve known about this since…” he thought about it, “since I fell asleep last night.” Oh, I hate those statements! I can never figure them out.

“What, what is it? I have no clue…” I said looking into his eyes, a small smile on my lips.

“You stole my heart, Donna...” He said leaning over and whispering into my ear, “I love you too.” He winked and I smiled sighed resting my head on his chest. I closed my eyes as we both sat there in silence. Orlando brushed some hair out of my face as he got more comfortable and thought about everything that has happened between us.
