Chapter 11 ~ Part 1
A week has gone by and I moved back in with Evie since that day. Yes, we now call it “That Day”… pathetic, I know, but that’s what Evie insists on saying. Orlando is still here though. According to Dom, everyone else from the Fellowship is either out making another movie, has too many children at home for Orlando to stand right now, or they are on their own vacation out somewhere. So, therefore, Orlando has no other place to go but stay on this tiny island with Dom, or else he has to stay in a hotel for God knows how long back in L.A. until he gets his life back in order. Oh, and my favorite part Dom said, “because you (meaning me) screwed it up.” What a lovely thought, Orlando, or Dom, or both of them, I don’t know, are blaming me for Orlando’s pity party. Well I say too bad! Every single day I would go to set with Evie, I would have to take an Advil or something just to stop the headaches that would start as soon as I laid a foot in the sand. Then I would start to cry every time I see Dom, because every time I saw him I would immediately start to think of Orlando, which made me cry. I knew I screwed up, and I knew that no matter what I did, Orlando would never forgive me. I couldn’t think of one thing to do to try to get Orlando back. Every time I laid in bed thinking of what to do, I would come up with nothing and then cry myself to sleep. I looked on the calendar one day and realized that we only had one more week left before Christmas break, which was the day after Dom’s 31st birthday. I never knew what to get him and I asked Evie since she would know.

“Buy him a t-shirt. I’ll go with you to the mall tomorrow morning and I’ll help you find one… and I’ll get him one too.” She chimed up with a smile as we sat at the kitchen counter eating some cereal before we went to bed.

“Sounds like a plan.” I said with a smile. I knew I had to get out for a while at some point. I was sulking around too much, and being on set wasn’t helping either. I guess Evie could read me very well as she noticed that I was just staring off into space.

“Donna,” she gently put a hand on my right arm. It was cool to the touch as my own body was radiating off heat like a furnace, “you need to do something quick… I know what you are thinking and… I don’t know… I think we will go out to a karaoke bar or something for Dom’s birthday, maybe…” she said looking away from me and out the window to the sky, it was pitch black and the full moon was clearly visible, “maybe that is the best way you can get his attention… and I know that Orlando will be at the party because Dom will be there.” Evie had a look on her face like she was thinking and smudged her lips, making a funny face. But that didn’t help the sorrowful look on my face. Evie got up, washed out the bowls and put them in the dishwasher. She started to head up to her room, “I’ll see you in the morning, goodnight.”

I waved her off, “Good night,” I said quietly, “and thank you for talking to me.” I just sat there a little longer and then went to bed myself. I realized that I wasn’t all that good with singing, Simon Cowell would have a fit if I ever thought I was a great singer. But, I though, Evie’s option was the only great option that I could think of and well, I might as well go with it. Next Friday would be the big night and I was going to make myself look like a fool whether I wanted to or not. Just as long as I had my man by the end of the night.

Chapter 11 ~ Part 2
While at the mall, Evie and I went into a bookstore to look at some books and get some gum. While in line, I looked over at the magazine rack and took a second glance. Something caught my eye and took my breath away, that little *****! I couldn’t believe it. I let out a gasp and the man standing behind me, thank goodness he didn’t recognize me, said, “Well don’t be too surprised, that’s nothing new.” Well, obviously he didn’t take a second glance at me. I was on the front cover of People magazine with a look of surprise when Orlando showed up at the scene, Josh in tow. The headline read Bloomin’ Scandal: Orlando cheats on Kate, new girl is with Sawyer!: Read Kate’s story on page 35. I couldn’t believe it… getting Orlando back would take a lot more than I thought.

“Evie,” I said handing her the magazine, “look…” I wiped away some tears that shed down my face. Evie’s mouth dropped in surprise and covered her mouth. She looked around as if trying to hide something and put the magazine back on the counter and took me aside.

“Donna, I am so sorry,” she said hugging me in a tight embrace, “I have no idea what I could do to help.”

“I just wish none of this happened. I miss Lando so much that my heart hurts just thinking about him. I wish he would forgive me, I was so scared Evie, I wanted Lando there at that moment. I was so happy to see him when he got there, and now I blew it” I sobbed still hugging Evie. Then all of a sudden I feel Evie take in a sharp breath. “What?” I ask, as I turn around to see Orlando walking towards us. I turn beet red and sprint into the ladies room that was conveniently ten steps away from where we were. I ran inside as I heard Orlando call out my name, but I don’t answer. I just go into a stall and cry to the point that there were no my tears.

Evie’s POV ~
Donna just ran into the bathroom as soon as I saw Orlando and Dom walking towards us. Great!
Next thing I knew, Orlando calls out to Donna, as if he wanted to talk to her. But I stop him, hoping that maybe talking to him first would be the best thing to do. “Orlando, please,” I said holding him back and Dom right behind him. I told Dom yesterday that I thought it be best that we kept the two of them separate but… you know guys, they don’t listen. So I continued and we sat at one of the benches in the back on the bookstore so no one would see us.

“Orli man, we have to talk, Donna is all up-set over this and Evie thinks it’s best if you hear it from her first so you don’t say anything stupid to Donna, okay?” Dom said to Orlando. Orlando looked completely drained, looked like he hadn’t taken a shower in days, and his hair not even brushed. He took a sharp breath in.

“Okay, I’m listening…” He said looking me in the eyes.

“What happened the other day, was not…” I couldn’t figure out how to say it, “okay, Josh did not kiss Donna on purpose. Josh likes to play mind games with young women and when they get lured into his game… he gives them what the expect.” I said trying to choose my words right. Orlando looked at Dom and then to the floor, he stared at his sneakers for a while and spoke.

“So, what happened …” he looked up into my eyes, “wasn’t what I thought?” his eyes looked bloodshot, as if he was going to cry. He took his head into his hands, “…Was she scared?” he asked, wanting to know why Donna acted the way she did when he saw her on set, “She looked so angry when I got there… I didn’t know what to think… until I… I saw hhmmm! …” Orlando started to cry and I pulled him in for a hug. Dom came over onto the bench right behind Orlando and embraced him too.

“Shh…” I cooed into his ear, “It’s okay Orlando, Donna told me she was so scared of what Josh did, she wanted you there with her right then and there.” I leaned back so I could look at his big brown eyes and kept my hands firmly on his shoulders, “As soon as you knocked, she was so excited to see you.” I said smiling. His frown turned into a small smile.

“Really?” Orlando asked, like a child asking for a piece of candy. I nodded my head, yes, “does…” he looked to the ground as if unsure of himself, “does she… does Donna still love me?” he asked, looking up into my eyes begging for an answer.

“When you come to Dom’s karaoke party Friday night you can ask her,” I said assuring Orlando my word.

“Donna will be there?” he looked down again, “will she want to talk to me?” I took his cheeks into my hands and made his eyes gaze back at me.

“She already told me what she wants to say to you, and I think you will like it.” I smiled. We said our good-byes as Dom noted that he wanted to visit a store before the mall closed and took Orlando along with him. I went into the girls bathroom to check on Donna. “Hey, girl, their gone.” Donna stepped out of the stall and washed her face from the tears.

“Thank you Evie,” she said looking up, “what did you tell him?” she turned to look at me.

“I told him everything, I told Orlando that you love him and that you wish none of this happened.” I smiled and I could tell from the smile on Donna’s face that she was relieved she didn’t have to face him just then.
“Thank you for doing this for me Evie, you’re a great friend.” She said putting an arm around me.

“That’s what friends are for. But,” I said pointing a finger at her chest, “you have to talk to Orlando Friday night, I told him you have something to tell him and he is very excited about it.” I said smiling. Donna smiled back with a huge grin on her face.

“Will do.”

With that we walked out and got some ice cream to go on our way out from the mall and headed home. We had to put our t-shirts that we picked in the bags with tissue that we bought and then we watched our favorite chick-flick, Hot Chick.

Chapter 12~Part 1
Friday night at the karaoke bar~

Evie and I get to the bar and I feel queasy already just thinking about Lando and what he would think while singing. This was a bad idea and I knew it. “Evie, I don’t know if I can do this… what if…” Evie stopped me in my tracks as I followed her in and laid a hand on my left shoulder.

“No ifs Donna, you will do fine. I know for a fact Orlando is in love with you, and at this point, it looks like he would do anything to get you back into his life. You are like a life-line to him, and I know that his is the same for you.” She said with a caring tone in her voice. I smiled and thanked her.

“Thanks Evie, I think I’m going to stop in the ladies room for a bit before I go up.” I said squeezing her free hand, the other with both her bag and my bag for Dom. “I’ll see you in a bit, okay?” Evie smiled.

“Alright, you’ll do fine. Good luck and don’t forget to breathe girl!” She yelled as she went to the tables where Dom, Billy and some of the cast were.

Evie’s POV

I sat down between Dom and Billy. Some how, Donna didn’t see Orlando sitting there with Dom. I figured it was best for now. “So, how’s things holding up?” I asked Dom and then looked over at Orlando.

“Fine,” Orlando said rubbing his right hand over his face, he looked tired and worried about something, “I haven’t got much sleep. I’m just worried… worried about everything.” He looked down at his pint of Guinness.

“Don’t worry so much Orlando,” I said rubbing his back comfortingly, “like I said the other day, Donna still loves you…” I look at the stage and then back to his eyes, “she’s just scared of how you will react. That is why she will be on stage.” I smiled meekly. Orlando’s eye lit up.

“She is? Donna wants… to sing to me?” I nod. Billy perks up and joins in the conversation.

“So I take it Orli here got himself a lassie?” He stated with a thick accent that I could barely understand, Orlando nodded, “When can I meet her mate?” Billy smiled with bright green eyes.

"Later on, Billy boy,” I said patting his hand that was on the table, “I think you will like her.” We all smiled. I was happy to see Orlando finally smiling and laughing after he’s been so gloomy lately. He was looking towards the front door and his smile turned into a frown. I looked his way and saw Josh stepping in, obviously for Dom’s birthday party. He walked towards us and acknowledged Dom’s presence with a hug and a hand shake and then looked with utter discuss at Orlando.

“You’re here.”

“Yeah, I’m here for my mate’s birthday. Listen, I don’t want to cause any trouble,” Orlando stated getting up from his stool and put on his light jacket, “I’m sorry for the other day,” Orlando was now in front of Josh, “…it’s just I…”

“Listen here elf boy, I don’t want you messing around with my girl, you got that?!” Josh yelled and pushed Orlando to the ground. Obviously he was drunk and the bar was now silent. I could tell this was now a fight and it wasn’t going to end with no one hurt. I had to say something before it got any worse.

“Please Josh, you’re drunk. Just go home and we will see you back on set in January.” I said as I helped Orlando up and sat him down next to me on a stool next to Dom, who also helped to hold him up. Josh looked at me and then at Orlando. He went around behind Dom and grabbed Orlando by the collar of his jacket.

“Come with me elf boy, I’m not done with you yet!” He was in rage.

“No!” I yelled at Josh as I watched him walking with Orlando outside.

“It’s okay Evie,” Orlando said meekly, “I’m doing this for Donna.”

Re: When I'm Brave Enough~ PG to PG-13

Chapter 12 ~ Part 2

I came out of the ladies room hearing commotion from where the party was. I walked over to Evie, who was standing at the door way and everyone else in our group was standing outside. As I got closer to the door and could barely see outside I notice there were police men there too. Evie yelled out to me above the noise, “Donna, come here quick! Orlando’s hurt!” I started to panic and ran to the doors.

“Get out of the way!” I yelled out as I tried to pass everyone standing there. There was two paramedics kneeling over Orlando’s unconscious body and one that was telling the police information. I started to sob and Evie came over, “This is Donna,” she told the paramedic next to me as I put my right hand over my face and the other on Orlando. I ran my hand over his stomach and chest and slowly took his left hand into my hand. His body was so limp, and blood was running from his eye brows and his left cheek. His green t-shirt was ripped and blood was slowly coming out from a wound there too. I couldn’t tell if Orlando was alive or dead. All I knew was that I wanted to know who did this and if they were alive right now because I wanted to kill them for what they did.

“What happened to you?” I asked as tears ran down my cheeks, “who did this to you, Lando?” I cried out in pain. Evie put a hand on my shoulder from behind me to comfort my trembling body.

“Orlando is okay Donna, he’s still alive,” she said quietly.

“Who did this to him!?” I yelled out in pain, “I want to know!”

“It was Josh. He came here for Dom’s party, of course, and didn’t think Orlando would be here. When he saw Orlando, he decided to start a fight.” I started to cry at the thought that Orlando was hurt, maybe dieing, all because I came here. It was all my fault Orlando is in this mess.

“It’s all my fault,” I said crying and took Orlando’s left hand into both of mine before the paramedics took Orlando’s body into the ambulance truck.

“No, no it’s not,” Evie stated, “Donna, Orlando said to me before he came out that he was going to win this fight no matter what because he was doing this for you.” I turned over to face Evie as they took Orlando’s body away to the Honolulu hospital downtown and I cried into her shoulder.

One of the female paramedics came up to us and said softly to me, “If you want, you can come with us in the back and stay with him…” I smiled softly at her and then to Evie. Evie told me to go and I hopped into the back and sat next to Orlando’s body as they had him hooked up to an IV and all sorts of other wires.

Re: When I'm Brave Enough~ PG to PG-13

Next thing I knew, I woke up a beeping sound. I was sitting slouched in a semi-comfortable position in a, what seemed to be a waiting room. I rubbed my eyes from the blurriness and remembered what happened. I noticed a nurse was looking at me and then made a hand gesture to someone else and a man came out from white swinging double doors. I figured he was a doctor when he came over and sat next to me. He had whitish-gray hair and bright blue eyes, but not compared to Elijah’s though. He was tall and skinny too.

“Hi, I’m Doctor Post, you must be Donna… right?” he asked as I sat up and shook his warm hand.

“Yes, yes I am,” I said breathless, not knowing what to do or say as I knew Orlando was right behind the doors and I wanted so badly to see him. He smiled at me and his bright blue eyes winkled in the florescent lights.

“Well, you’re looking a lot better than you did a few hours ago,” he said as he gave me a cup with liquid in it that looked like apple juice, “here, I have some apple juice for you.” He smiled and I smiled back taking it.

“Thank you,” I said, taking in a large gulp and swallowing. I feel awake now! “How is Orlando, if you don’t mind me asking Dr. Post?” I said quietly. He smiled and looked down at a chart, I assumed it was Orlando’s chart.

“He is doing absolutely fine dear,” he smiled, “however, right now he is still in a mild state of a coma since the accident,” I felt tears in my eyes once again … coma? My Lando’s in a coma? How can this be?! , “But don’t worry, he should be out of it by tomorrow morning… maybe even tonight with any luck.” He said with a smile as I took my head into my hands and looked to the tiles on the floor.

“How can this be happening?” I said crying, feeling like I couldn’t stop. I felt Dr. Post put a hand on my back to sooth me.

“It’s going to be fine. I just wanted to let you know that he also suffered some minor cuts on his face and had some internal bleeding in his stomach. Orlando is a lucky boy, Donna. We were able to get that internal bleeding fixed and he has quite a few stitches too.” He said smiling, I looked up into his eyes, “He’s going to be alright.” I finally smiled after his last statement.

I wanted to hug Dr. Post, but I had one last question, “ Can… can I go see him please?” I asked, hope burning in my body. Dr. Post smiled a stood up.

“Yes, dear, you may,” I got up from the couch, and shook his hand, “he’s in room 210, on the second floor.” He said smiling. I hugged Dr. Post with all the strength I had at that moment.

“Thank you, thank you so much Dr. Post. You are the best doctor I’ve ever met, thank you for saving my boyfriend’s life.” I said smiling and he smiled back.

“You’re welcome Donna. Now, run off and give some of that hug to Orlando, I think he’s going to need some of that.” He said leaving my side. I ran off and waved back at him as I hit the “up” button to the elevator and waiting impatiently and said “210“ to myself over and over. When I finally got to the second floor I ran to Orlando’s room and kept saying “210” to myself still, I didn‘t want to forget. I opened the door to see Orlando laying there in his bed, still unconscious. There was nurse standing in front of his body checking his fluids and whatever else a nurse is supposed to check. She looked over at me and motioned for me to come in.

“Hi, I’m Orlando’s nurse for the night shift. He’s doing quite well, as I’m sure that Dr. Post has told you already.” She said smiling. I couldn’t believe how friendly the staff were here at this hospital. They were very friendly and welcoming. “You are more than welcome to stay here all day if you would like and we have a cafeteria on the fifth floor,” she said looking at her watch, “ they should be serving breakfast for another two hours or so since it’s about 8 AM now.”

“Thanks, I might go up there in a bit…” I said not catching her name.

“I’m Sarah by the way,” She said shaking my hand. I figured to give her mine too, it was only polite.

“I’m Donna, and thank you for everything.” I said smiling. She closed the door as she left. I looked over at Orlando’s sleeping body. He was breathing softly, and I could see his chest moving very faintly under the soft white cloth that covered his chest. The rest of his body was covered by sheets and a thicker tan colored blanket that fit snug around his body and the bed. Now, black and blue rings wrapped around his eyes that could barely be seen under the medium-sized white clothes that were taped to his face with red-brown blotches that I assumed were blood. I noticed the wires that were attached to Orlando’s hands. One was attached to an IV the other one was attached to some other fluid device, possibly nutrients for all I knew… and of course, what really broke my heart was that he had an air tube lined up to his nose so he could breath better. All I could feel at that moment was pain, my whole body was in pain, I could feel all the hurt that Orlando was possibly feeling at that very moment, and it scared me knowing that I felt it. How could I feel so much for a man I barely knew?

I sat down next to Orlando’s body and held his hands in mine saying a little prayer asking God to heal Orlando’s broken body, and that if it was His will, to let Orlando live, and hopefully have His blessing for Orlando to stay in my life. I started to cry once again and kissed Orlando’s hand and let my lips graze his fingers. I noticed that the air tube started to fall down to his lips. I stood up a little and reached over to fix the tube back to it’s rightful place, keeping Orlando able to breath. “Come on Orlando… stay with me… please,” I said out loud, as if Orlando could hear me, “Please God… I don’t want to sound selfish… and I don’t know if it’s a sin to be in love with a man who once knew who You were…” I pleaded in prayer, “but please, I love Orlando, I want to show him Your undying love, and that you forgive, even the unbelievers in this world. Please God, don’t take Orlando from me, even if Orlando does live, please don’t take me away from him and never see him again.” I pleaded out loud, but softly. Still holding Orlando’s hands and keeping mine in a praying gesture as I kept my eyes closed and down.

When I was done praying, I opened my eyes and looked at Orlando’s sleeping form. I felt my stomach make some noise and decided that I was possibly hungry. I slowly stood up and smiled down at Orlando, I felt at peace to leave him here for a few minutes or so to get some food and come back to eat in here. I bent over and kissed Orlando’s cheek, still a little stunned that he didn’t move or flinch, not used to Orlando being unconscious. I took his left hand in my right, “I’ll be back with some breakfast, alright Lando?” I said to him smiling, “I love you.” I walked out and quietly shut the door and walked back to the elevators to get to the fifth floor.

When I got back with a toasted plain bagel with light cream cheese, a bottle of apple juice and a side of scrambled eggs, I opened Orlando’s door to find Dom, Evie and Billy sitting around Orlando’s bed, they looked like they were in conversation about something, possibly something funny that happened since they were smiling.

“Hey guys!” I said smiling as I walked in and shut the door behind me.

Chapter 12~ Part 3

“Hey guys!” I said smiling as I walked in and shut the door behind me. I couldn’t believe that Evie, Dom and Billy were here at the hospital. I needed some type of comfort as I waited for my Lando to wake up.

“Hey Donna,” Evie said giving me a hug, “I can see you found breakfast, I just wanted to let you know that Dom and I were just at the police station and they took Josh in for attempted murder.” She said with a weak smile as she kept a hand on my shoulder.

“Really?” I asked, I was a little stunned, but all the more relieved that Josh was not going to hurt neither me nor Orlando for a while, “For how long?”

“At least until summer time… maybe even longer,” Evie shrugged, “Anyways,” Evie said turning and wrapping an arm around a man who was a bit shorter than her, who I recognized as Billy, “this is Bill, Billy, this is Orlando’s girlfriend, Donna.”

Billy stepped forward and took my hand in a kind, friendly gesture, “It ‘tis a pleasure to meet ye lassie,” Billy said in his very thick Scottish accent. I could barely understand a word he said, however, his eyes were a gorgeous green that lit up the room. They really were mesmerizing, and the realization that Billy was, in fact, a bit shorter in person than what I assumed for reading, was a real shocker as he stood barely taller than me. Billy raised my land to his lips and kissed the top of my knuckles on my right hand and then looked back up, “Lando is a very lucky mate in deed.” I blushed at his comment.

“Thank you Billy, it’s a pleasure to meet you too,” I said taking my hand back, “I must say that I am a fan of your work, I enjoy your acting. May I ask you how your son, Jack is doing?” I asked, a little shy to ask the question at first. I was sure that not too many people have asked him about his son, since most have probably have forgotten. Yet, I will be honest, I haven’t read the tabloids in such a long time, and never read the British tabloids either. At least I was an honest curious fan.

“I don’t mind a’ all, lassie,” Billy said as all three of us went to sit down, I took a quick glance over to Orlando’s still body, Evie noticed and motioned me to come sit next to Orlando. I sat there and held Orlando’s hand as Billy spoke, “Jack is doing great. He’s getting so big. Look, I even have pictures of him,” he said leaning forward and getting out his billfold, he took out two pictures. Billy passed them over to me. While I looked at the pictures Evie and Dom said their goodbyes as they wanted to get out of the hospital to let Billy and I get to know each other. I couldn’t believe how much Jack looked just like his dad. I never saw pictures of Billy as a child, but now I know, just by looking at these photographs, it was amazing.

“Billy, Jack is so beautiful. He looks just like you.” I said almost teary-eyed. I smiled at Billy and gave him the pictures back. I noticed that Billy brought his acoustic guitar with him, “Why did you bring your guitar with you?” I asked pointing to the instrument to his left against the white wall.

“Well Donna,” Billy said smiling as he bent over and picked it up, laying it across his body as if he was going to play, “I figured that since you were supposed to serenade our Lando over here last night, I figured that you might want to sing today…” Billy trailed off. That was one of the sweetest things anyone has ever done for me. I knew that Billy could play very well and wanted to let him know that.

“Thank you Billy,” I said smiling at him and squeezed Orlando’s hand lightly and kissed it, “I know you are a great guitar player and I would be honored if you could play while I sang… or at least attempted to sing.” I said blushing at the thought that I was not, what I would call a singer. Heck, I wouldn’t even be caught dead in line to sing in front of Simon Cowell. I was not a good singer and I knew it, everyone knew it.

“Oh, come on lassie, ye can’t be tha’ bad?” he said smiling at me and then strummed some cords, “Dom told me what song you were going to sing since Evie told him… so I guess you can say I had a couple hours to remember how to play My Everything,” I heard some more cords as I looked down to the floor and stood up, as I knew I sang better standing and kept Lando’s right hand in both of my hands, keeping them warm.

“Thank you Billy,” I said smiling over at him and then back at Lando’s peaceful body. I could hear the still calm beeping of the heart monitor next to the window, it calmed me, knowing that my Lando was still alive.

Re: When I'm Brave Enough~ PG to PG-13

“Ye know Donna, I looked at the lyrics to this song, it’s beautiful,” Billy said looking down for a moment as if trying not to cry, he looked back up to me and shed a small tear, “and I really think that Lando will love it if ye sang to him, it may help his body to heal, ye know? Not jus’ physically, but emotionally too…” Billy said softly as he started to play the first few cords, “Are ye ready?” he asked, I nodded. Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath in and looked back to Orlando’s hand in mine, rubbing his fingers softly.

The loneliness of nights alone
The search for strength to carry on
My every hope had seemed to die
My eyes had no more tears to cry
Then like the sun shining from up above,
you surrounded me with your endless love,
and all things I couldn't see are now so clear to me

You are my everything
Nothing your love won't bring
My life is yours alone
The only love I've ever known
Your spirit pulls me through
When nothing else will do
Every night I pray
On bended knee
That you will always be
My everything

Now all my hopes and all my dreams
are suddenly reality
you've opened up my heart to feel
a kind of love that's truly real
a guiding light that'll never fade
there's not a thing in life that I would ever trade
for the love you give and wont let go
I hope you'll always know

You are my everything
Nothing your love won't bring
My life is yours alone
The only love I've ever known
Your spirit pulls me through
When nothing else will do
Every night I pray
On bended knee
That you will always be
My everything

You're the breath of life in me
the only one that sets me free
and you have made my soul complete
for all time

I stood there singing and felt a tear running down my cheek. I began to sob as my emotions got to me. I asked God to not take Orlando from me and that I needed him in my life and he need me in his life. I couldn’t bare to think of living a life full of happiness without Lando. It seemed impossible to do so. I kept singing the rest of the song to the end.

You are my everything
Nothing your love won't bring
My life is yours alone
The only love I've ever known
Your spirit pulls me through
When nothing else will do
Every night I pray
On bended knee
That you will always be
be my everything

You are my everything
Nothing your love won't bring
My life is yours alone
The only love I've ever known
Your spirit pulls me through
When nothing else will do
Every night I pray
On bended knee
That you will always be
My everything

Every night I pray
down on bended knee
that you will always be
my everything
oh my everything

I sobbed even more now and wrapped my arms around Orlando’s helpless body and uncontrollably cried more until I fell asleep. When I woke up, I realized that Billy had left and that I didn’t even eat my breakfast. I decided to eat what I could find edible on my plate, as I looked at the cold substance that looked like scrambled eggs. I ate the bagel and cream cheese and drank the apple juice, throwing everything else away. I quietly went back to Lando’s sleeping form and crawled into the bed with him. I snuggled into his chest and wrapped my right arm over his chest while my left arm tucked under Orlando’s pillow. I kissed Orlando’s breast that was right before me as my head laid down in the crook of his arm and chest. I fell asleep shortly afterwards as I was still a little stressed out over they events that have happened.

I woke up from sleeping as I felt something, a hand brushing against my arm soothingly. I realized that I had slept the whole day and it was already night time. Or at least it was dark outside, I had no idea if it was late at night or early in the morning. It took me a while to get used to the darkness in the room, but there was a fare amount of light that came in from the hall way. I knew that it was probably past visitors hours. But the staff here at the hospital have been so generous and the nurse never kicked me out. I moved my head slightly to see how Orlando was doing and I felt his hand move a little. His eye were still closed shut but I could tell he was awake finally, “Orlando, sweetie, are you awake?” I asked him softly in his ear. Tears were coming back to my eyes.

“Donna?” He faintly said, it was barely audible, but I could hear what my Lando was saying.

“Lando,” I said giving his hands a tight squeeze, “you’re alive. I love you so much.” I said kissing all over his face and hands. Lando gave my hand a squeeze back, “I love you too. I am so sorry this happened.” He said with a some-what worried look on his face. He could barely move the muscles in his face as they hurt so much. I gently got up off the bed and I placed my right hand on his right cheek, gently rubbing my thumb across his bruised cheek.

“Don’t worry about it Lando. None of this was your fault, okay? I love you so much. The only thing that matters is that you are still alive.” Orlando tilted his head up at me as if he was looking into my eyes. But, of course, his eyes were closed. I smiled faintly, “Evie told me what happened last night. I was so scared for you, I didn’t know what to do. But she told me that you wanted to fight Josh for me, because you love me, and that’s the most…” I started to cry, “that was…the most wwwonderful thing anyone has ever done for me.” I said giving Lando a kiss on his bottom lip, “you are truly, my knight in shining armor Lando, and I love you for that.” I bent over and hugged him tighter.

“Shh…” Lando said brushing his hand through my hair, “ it’s okay, I just glad I’m alive still to see you beautiful face again.” I turned my head over to see his face and realized that Lando’s eyes were open. I got nervous knowing that it probably hurt so much to open his eyes.

I sat up and ran both of my hands from his forehead to his chin, “Baby, doesn’t that hurt?” I asked, seeing his beautiful brown eyes staring into my blue ones. He faintly smiled and then looked down and back up.

“A little, but I’ll manage. I’ve got my beautiful girlfriend to look at and I think that’s the only medicine I’ll need to get better.” I smiled at his cheekiness.

“Lando,” I laughed, “if I’m the only medicine you will need, I’ll have to give you a lot more than I can offer because as far as I’m concerned, you have a lot of healing to do.” Lando smiled back at me and it looked like he was attempting to lean up. I figured he wanted to kiss me, so I rested my hands on his shoulders, “no, stay down, I don’t want you to hurt yourself,” I said lovingly and leaned down smiling, “is this what you wanted?” I asked as I kissed him passionately on his lips. I was as gentle as I could possibly be since I was new at this kissing thing. I lent up and looked at his smiling face.

“Yeah,” Lando sighed.

Yes, that is a 98 Degrees song... sorry I forgot to mention that

Here is another up-date... sorry I haven't posted in a while!

Chapter 13 ~ Part 1
Orlando and I stayed up all night talking about what to do for Christmas since I was on break up to the January 2, to finish up the season and well… Lost all together. J.J. and the other executives decided it would be best for the show if they ended the series and made a couple movies, maybe a trilogy of Lost , so that fans would not be disappointed. Honestly, I had no idea what I wanted to do for Christmas since I never really had a true family Christmas in years since high school. When I went to Boston, I would stay with friends’ families in the outskirts of Boston and from as far as Saco, Main to Providence, Rhode Island. I never got completely along with my real family since most of my immediate family was boys and my mother and I never really got along. Then, Orlando took me out of my reverie, “Love, why don’t you stay with me for Christmas? The guys and I usually get together every couple of years at the Astin’s house and this Christmas is one of them. Why don’t you come? It will be fun and Dom, you, and I will fly back here just in time to film the last half of the season.” Orlando said as I laid there in his arms, looking up at the ceiling. I thought this might be a good change, and I would much rather stay with Orlando than with my real family especially when they get into fights.

“I think it’s a lovely idea Lando,” I said smiling and I turned my head giving him a kiss on the cheek, “by the way, who’s going to be there?” I asked as I got curious who I would be meeting. Orlando looked up thoughtfully and closed his eyes, holding me close to him.

“Well, let’s see… me, you, Dom, maybe Evie if she doesn’t go to Canada, Billy, Ali, and Jack, then there’s Viggo, and Henry, and of course Sean, Christine, and their daughters, I think that’s it,” he said looking back at me and tickled my belly, “oh, I almost forgot, maybe Sean, you know Sean Bean?” I nodded a yes as I giggled under his touch, “I think Sean might be there this year too.” He said reassuringly. I smiled back at Orlando.

“Well, that sounds like a lot of fun Lando,” I closed my eyes and remembered something, I haven’t taken my pills since the accident, “Oh, Orlando!” I said worried. Then Orlando looked at me worried.

“What? What happened, love?”

“I forgot my pills since the other day,” I said jumping out of the hospital bed and grabbing my jacket that had my cell phone in it, “Crap, cell phone is dead, why?” I said hitting the cell against my thigh in anger. The plug was back at Dom’s house probably, good use for it there!

“Love, you can use mine,” Orlando stated pointing over to his tattered jeans hanging off of the chair next to the window, “it should be in my back pocket.” I walked over to his jeans and grabbed the cell phone and smiled, the cell phone was charged.

“Thanks Lando,” I smiled, “I’m gonna call Dom and ask him to bring my medicine bag over here and maybe we can get you home today,” I said with a wink at Orlando.

“No problem babe, that’s a great idea.” He smiled at me while laying there in bed and tried to stretch out, only to cause pain. I saw him wince, “Oh baby, are you okay?” I asked holding the phone in my left hand and placing my right on his forehead, brushing hair out of his face.

“Yeah,” he said breathing heavily from the sharp pain, “I’ll be fine.” He looked down to his hands, placing them in the blankets. I nodded with a smile and kissed his forehead. I walked back to the window to get better reception and found Dom’s number in the address book on the cell, pressing a couple buttons. Dom answered within a couple rings.

“Eh, hello?”

“Hey Dom, it’s me,” I smiled over at Orlando.

“Hey love, what’s going on? How’s our loverboy doing?” He asked in a singsong voice, knowing very well that that type of comment would make me blush furiously. Which it did since I turned beet red… strawberry to be exact. I glanced at Orlando quickly and then looked back out the window. I didn’t check if Orlando noticed.

“He’s fine. Doing quite well actually,” I said with my left hand on my hip and then placed my hand on the windowsill. It was a habit of mine when I got nervous, never knowing where to put my hands, sometimes I might have something in my hands and I put that object somewhere, then later I have no idea where it is. I hate being nervous. “He’s awake now and his eyes are open.” I said smiling and turned to face Orlando who smiled back at me.

“Oh, that’s great. Want me to come pick you guys up?” He asked all excited.

“Actually, that’s why I called. I wanted to know if you can bring my pill bag with you too though. I’m hoping to get Dr. Post to come in here to see Orlando and say if he can go home today. You can stick around and wait if you want.” I said leaning against the windowsill.

“Sure, I’ll be there in about 45 minutes. I’m at home now, so I’ll get your bag and be on my way.”

“Sounds great Dom. I’ll see you in a bit. Oh, and Lando is excited to see you too,” I said with a cheerful voice. We said our goodbyes and hung up. “Dom is on his way and will be here in 45 minutes.” I walked back over to my side of the bed and got in next to Orlando snuggling him.

“I can’t wait to get home and see Sidi again,” He said, his lips against my neck, his hot breath lulling me, “I bet he really misses me.” I smiled at how much he loves his dog. It was almost like Sidi was his son that he adopted, not just another pet.

“I’m pretty sure he misses you Lando,” I said taking his hand into mine and pressing his hand to my chest, “because I would miss you too after a couple nights of not knowing where you were.” I said with a smile and rubbed my thumb against his hand.

Orlando sighed into my nape, “yeah, I would miss you too if you weren’t here. I’m so sorry about what happened.” I turned to face him, still holding his hand to my chest, “I should have never reacted the way I did… thinking that you cheated on me. I guest that’s because of what happened between me and Kate.” I left his hand on my chest and brought my pointer finger to his lips to silence him.

“Shh…” I said softly, “Stop blaming yourself, alright?” I said with concern, “We can forget about what happed, okay?” I said hugging Orlando’s body closer to me, “Josh is in jail and we can move on. Kate is out of the picture because she obviously moved on, okay?” I said pushing back enough to look Orlando in his beautiful brown eyes, “Now, how about we call up Fi and find out what happened to her. Obviously, as your personal assistant she must be worried sick about you. You didn’t let her know where you are, did you?” I asked concerned once more. Orlando gave me a troubled look as if trying to find the words to say, or something to that effect.

“Ummm,” he looked in all directions but my eyes then he refocused on me, “no, I didn’t tell her where I was going.” I was shocked, “ I didn’t want her to know because I was afraid she would get worried and I didn’t want the press to know.”

“Well of course she would get worried. I would get worried.”

“Yeah, I know,” he said in a I know what I did was wrong , but I did it anyways look, “But I didn’t want her with me. She is always following me everywhere and I just wanted to cool down a bit. You know, hide out for a while with Dom without something that will remind me of my job.”

“Yeah, I get the picture,” I said with a sigh and held Orlando close as if protecting him from some unknown creature, “just promise me you will call Fi when we get home, okay?” He smiled back.

“Okay,” he returned the hug, then he pulled back and asked, “but, by the way… how did you know my assistant’s name is Fi? Are you with some fan girl spy team or something?” he asked shocked that I knew something that I thought a lot of people knew. I blushed as I remembered, yeah, I’m not a fan girl, but I ‘ve got connections.

“Yeah, well, I’m not a fan girl, but I used to go on fan message boards and get information. A lot of girls out there know more about you than I know now.” I said, watching the surprised look on his face. I giggled knowing how naïve he is, “it’s okay Lando. It’s been a long time, a very long time since I’ve been on one of you fan sites.” I said smiling, making him smile back. Lando didn’t say anything and tilted his chin towards his chest, resting his head on my chest. We laid in this embrace for a while, waiting for Dr. Post.

Chapter 13 ~ Part 2
This is just a side story, I guess you can say. I bet as a reader, you were wondering what Orlando was dreaming, or even thinking while he was in his short lived coma for those couple of days. Well, this is what was going on.

I can hear a beautiful voice, singing as I am waiting, standing there, in a large cathedral, next to a priest, Dom, Billy and some other friends, to get married. I can hear the words being sung, I think I remember the song My Everything , I believe the song was called… this woman I am waiting for, she really is my everything, and I am her everything. She looks so beautiful in her long white dress, being walked down the isle, by my father, Colin, who so generously offered to walk my beautiful bride. We say our ‘I Do’s and I pull over the vale to see Donna’s beautiful dark blue eyes shining back up into mine. I softly touch her face with my finger tips as I lean down to her small frame and place my lips on her lips that taste like… vanilla. She kisses me back, with just as much passion as I am giving her.

Then I see her, Donna, with me, laying in our bed that resembles a large hammock. We are surrounded by water on the beach and tall palm trees that are covering us as a shade. Donna, she sleeps so peacefully as I graze my thumb against her cheek and wake her. “Are you sure this is what you want?” I ask her, while blankets cover our naked skin. She nods her head and smiles, I smile back, making love for the first time.

Then I’m running down a white hallway. It looks like a hospital of some sort. I see doctors and nurses waiting at a door. One nurse waves to me, beckoning me to come to that room. I race in, to see my beautiful wife in labor, ready to give birth. I hold Donna’s small, smooth hand in mine as I encourage her to push. She is sweating and crying as she squeezes my hand to the point I do not have any feeling in my hand. The doctor mouths to me that I have a son. A baby boy. The doctor hands me my son as I cradle him in my arms surrounded by a blue blanket. I am full of joy and happiness. I show Donna our son, that we made together. I give her our son and she holds him in her arms, as if he was made of porcelain. The music fades away as Donna says to me, “I love you.”
