Like I've said...incredibly cute! That last part of him greeting the girls was funny too. I could see him doing that! Orlando has proven to be quite the wonderful man and husband. Why can't all men be like that? emoticon

Chapter 35~ Part 1
Little Lando’s POV

Hmmm… Papa? Mama? Where am I? That thumping sound is quiet soothing though. I’m hungry now. I tilt my head over to the side slowly. But, that thing that I normally get my food from isn’t there. I hear another sound, but it’s far from being a soothing sound. I look up a bit and I realize I am being held by a man and his eyes are closed. I think he is my papa… I remember him holding me a while ago and I recognize that thumping sound as his. He is warm and holds me close to his chest. I feel loved and comfort being in his arms. He must be my papa. I hear that strange sound again. I think it’s coming from that thing on his face with two holes. Maybe if I reach my hand up to it, that sound will stop… I can’t reach it though, instead, I reached for nothing and placed my hand on Papa’s warm chest. A moment later, that strange sound stopped, but I could still hear that calming thumping sound still. Papa’s eyes open up and he looked down at me, and repositioned me so I could look up at him clearly. He smiled at me as he tickled my belly and I giggled at his touch. I love my papa.

“Hey there little man,” Orlando was still a bit drowsy, but happy to see his son laying there, in his arms. Well, in reality, Orlando could in fact hold Little Lando with one arm. But, truth be told, Orlando didn’t trust himself that much and never wanted to put his son in any danger where he could fall. Even though Orlando was sitting, slouched in a chair next to his sleeping wife, Orlando didn’t want to risk his son getting dropped by accident.

Weighing in at 6 pounds and 4 ounces, Little Lando was considered small for a healthy, and perfectly developed little baby. In fact, the doctors were a bit concerned if this little baby was premature or not. Thankfully, because of Donna’s small frame, the doctors guaranteed Little Lando’s health. “You’re so small,” Orlando said in a baby voice, “I hope you grow to be as tall as your papa,” Orlando laughed as he stroked his right index finger along the side of his son’s chubby little face. “I’m going to make sure to feed you a lot of spinach so you will grow tall.” Orlando said with a frown as he thought about his son, and if he would still be proud of Little Lando even if he never gets as tall as his father.

What Orlando didn’t realize was that Donna woke up and watched her husband as he talked softly to their son and cradled their son in his arms. Not wanting to startle Orlando, Donna just sat there quietly and watched. Donna realized that, with everything that has happened in her past, this seems so unreal to her. A tear had formed in one of her eyes, and slipped silently down her cheek. Donna sniffed and whipped away at the tear, but failed miserably to not get Orlando’s attention. Orlando adverted his eyes over to his wife he thought to be sleeping. His smile turned into a concerned frown as he became aware that Donna had been crying. “Hi there, Love,” Orlando said while bouncing Little Lando in his arms lightly, “what’s wrong?” Concern flashed in his big brown eyes as he leaned over and gently brushed some hair from Donna’s eyes, “Did you have a bad dream?”

“No Orlando,” Donna lifted her hand and placed it on top of Orlando’s as he stroked her cheek, stopping him to kiss the soft skin of his palm. “I don’t think I’ve had bad dreams since the day I first met you.” Donna said dreamily, which caused Orlando to chuckle.

“Then what’s going on in that pretty little head of yours?”

“I… I… I don’t know Orlando,” Orlando gave Donna a look of concern and moved a bit closer to his wife’s side. “It’s not easy for me to say this, but…”

“But, what love? You can tell me anything… any thing that is going on with you.” Orlando realized that this will be a tough one to get out of his wife and the look of concern turned to sadness on his face. “Please?”

“I love you Orlando,” another tear formed in her eye. “I’ve loved you before we met and more so when we did finally meet.” Donna took her hand and brushed her fingertips gently across Orlando’s cheek and then to her son’s forehead. “Now, I’m more than certain that I’m in love with you ever since my birthday and our wedding day that we conceived this little bundle of cuteness.” Donna smiled as she looked down at her son and then back to the waiting and concerned eyes of her husband.

“But Donna,” Orlando placed a hand on hers and placed hers on his chest. “You haven’t told me everything yet… I can tell. Please tell me…” Orlando’s eyes were pleading with hers as his glistened.

“When I was younger, like most girls, I dreamed of marrying the perfect man,” Donna breathed. “I didn’t know who this guy would be, but I prayed to God that he would choose the right one for me. By the time I was in my senior year in high school, The Lord of the Rings movies came out and I got a glimpse of you. But it wasn’t until my second year of college that I really took a liking to who most girls knew as Orlando Bloom.” Donna blushed while looking down, and Orlando saw this.

Orlando lifted a finger gently to Donna’s cheek, “Go on love, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about,” Orlando smiled and Donna smiled back.

“I read all of the quotes that you said about how all women are special, and that they should be treated with love and respect. That really tug on my heart Orlando, I was really intrigued by you after that moment. I continued to read about all the things that you like and dislike, finding that we have a lot more in common than I originally thought. I read comments from directors and co-stars that praised you for your personality, and general kindness towards all people. I wondered if such a nice man really exists. I prayed that night that God would lead me to a man like yourself to marry some day. I assumed that no man could ever be as sweet or kind as you are and that I would have to settle for less than you.”

At this point, Orlando had tears in his eyes. Whipping them away, Orlando brushed an index finger across Donna’s cheek, and gave a look of concern, “Love, why would you think that I would be better than any other man?”

“Because, I never thought I deserved you, or anyone like you Orlando. I’ve never thought of myself to deserve to be married to a prince. I never thought of myself as pretty either. You are more than I ever asked for in a man and ten fold, Orlando. I asked God to help me find a man that is to my standards and if so be it, somewhat close to your character. But what did God give me? He gave me a man who is ten times better than I had imagined to be… He gave me you, Orlando. The best part is that God has also given me a beautiful son. This is more than I ever imagined Orlando, and I’m grateful for it. I watched as you held our son in you arms and I questioned if this was all a dream. Because, to me, this is far beyond reality… beyond my wildest dreams.”

Orlando sat there quietly, letting Donna’s words sink into his mind. He then leaned over and gently, yet firmly pressed his lips to hers. Donna took in the passion that was in that kiss and gave it all back with equal passion, tugging gently at his bottom lip with her own lips. They both let out a soft moan as Orlando reluctantly pulled away. “Love,” Orlando said smiling, “if you have been dreaming all this, I must be having the same dream.” Orlando said watching his wife smile. “Funny thing is, I don’t ever want to wake up if it is a dream.”

“Me neither,” Donna pulled Orlando into another kiss.

Chapter 35~ Part 2

After Orlando and Donna had their little moment together. Nurse Nikki came in with Donna’s doctor and confirmed that it was okay for Donna and Little Lando to go home. The doctor left, and Nikki stayed, tending to Donna’s IV while Orlando signed the release forms. After Nikki left, Donna asked Orlando, “Honey, sweetheart…”

“Yes love?” Orlando asked, looking up as he tied Donna’s shoes for her while she held Little Lando and sat in the wheelchair that Donna was told to ride in to get outside. Orlando looked up at Donna with so much love in his eyes. Donna could actually get lost in those deep dark brown eyes, and it made her smile just thinking about that. “Love?” Orlando asked again, taking Donna out of her dream-like state.

“Oh, sorry honey,” Donna blushed, “I’m okay, it’s just that when you look up at me like that,” Donna took her free hand and ruffled the medium length hair on Orlando’s head, “you look so darn cute!” Orlando sighed as he tried taming his hair back down as he stood up again. However, his determination to get his hair down did not work as Donna kept giggling.

“Hahaha,” Orlando pouted as he looked down at his wife, “very funny. Thank you love,” Orlando said in a mocked tone and got Donna’s jacket wrapped it around her from the back since she was holding Little Lando who was asleep now. “So what was your question love.”

“Thank you Orlando,” Donna thanked him as he adjusted a scarf around her neck. “I was just wondering what we are going to do once we are home and have no where to put this little guy. What are we going to cloth him in? What about diapers, a carriage, and a crib? Surely we don’t have those things!” Orlando checked off everything in his mind as Donna named all those things that she thought they didn’t have as he got himself all bundled up in his own jacket and scarf. Orlando smiled as he looked over at his son that slept in his mother’s arms.

“Don’t worry about a thing love,” Little Lando opened his eyes slowly as he looked up at his father rubbing his head softly. “I’ve got everything under control at home.” Orlando raised his eyes to his wife, “You under estimate what I can do Donna.” He said, giving Donna a kiss on the forehead. “Now, is my son going to be warm enough like that or am I going to have to get another blanket? Are your feet going to be warm enough like that love?” Orlando asked as he was worried about the cold January air getting to his son and to his wife, as Donna had slippers on and they had been in the warm hospital for nearly a week now.

“We will be fine Orlando!” Donna patted Orlando’s arm. “I’m already sweating with this jacket and scarf on and I’m sure to say the same about your son.” Donna said looking up at Orlando as he opened the door and walked around the wheelchair to walk Donna out. “So let’s just go home, it seems like forever since I’ve seen Sidi and I’m sure for you too!” Donna had no idea that Orlando had gone home to see Sidi a couple times, nor did she know about all the shopping that Orlando had done in the past couple of days. Orlando laughed to himself as he thought of that.

~~~~~~~~~
The newest Bloom family finally came back home the house that Orlando has lived in most of his life.
Little did they know that Sonia, Colin, and Samantha had a dinner set up for the new addition when they arrived. Johnny, Sebastian, Dominic and Elijah all came over to join in the surprise.
Outside the Bloom house
“Orlando, I’m so happy to finally be back home now.” Donna said snuggling as close as she could to Orlando’s warm body, while holding their baby close, as they both walked slowly to the front door. It was still freezing cold outside that January day not to mention it was snowing.
Orlando looked down at his sleeping son, “as do I love, as do I.” Orlando said with a smile. He gave Donna a kiss on her forehead as they got up to the front door. Orlando hesitated for a second, “are you ready love?” he asked before opening the front door. Donna nodded her head before Orlando opened the door.
“SURPRISE!!!” everyone cheered when Orlando came walking in with his beautiful wife and son. Orlando and Donna had surprised looks on their faces when they came in of course.
“Donna! Let me hold the little munchin for a bit here!” Samantha said as she took Little Lando out of Donna’s arms.
“Thank you so much Sam.” Donna said as Orlando helped her out of the coat. Then Sam took Donna’s hand and dragged her away up-stairs.
“Come on Donna, I’ve got to show you what your sexy husband bought for you and your son!” Sam squealed as Donna turned to give Orlando a quick kiss on the cheek and hurried him along to go see his friends and cousin.
Donna’s POV
I followed Samantha into the nursery and I couldn’t believe how beautiful it looked with the Winnie the Pooh décor that lined the walls, the crib, the linens, all the diapers and cloths that were already put into their proper places. I placed Little Lando into his crib with his new blanket that Uncle J.J. bought for him and he quickly went to sleep. “Thank you so much Sam,” I said, giving Sam a hug “and Orlando is getting what he disserves latter on tonight!”
A little later on that night we all sat down for dinner and I sat next to Orlando, “thank you so much sweetheart,” I whispered into his ear. I noticed whenever I whisper, his ear turns a bright shade of pink, it’s cute really. “For all those things that you bought for our son.” I rubbed my left hand up his thigh, giving his inner thigh a little squeeze, making Orlando squirm a bit in his seat. Which made me giggle with anticipation.
“Only the best for my wife.” Orlando said taking a deep breath as he put some food onto my plate and passed the other dishes around. After we had food on our plates, Orlando took my hand in his as we ate. “As for you love,” Orlando whispered in my ear, “you are so going to get it later on tonight… when we are alone… in bed.” This made my eyes bulge, and my face turn a crimson red. Luckily, no one really seemed to care, except for Orlando.
“We will see about that dear.” I whispered back.
Chapter 35~ Part 3
I have decided that this part of chapter 35 will be all memories and that the following part will be in present time in 6 years…
That night that Orlando and Donna brought home Junior, there was a surprise dinner party with a few friends, and Orlando’s parents and Samantha. Afterwards that night, as you can imagine, Orlando and Donna went to bed, and Donna took complete advantage of the fact that Samantha offered to watch Junior that night.
A month later.
Unfortunately, after weeks passing by, Donna was not pregnant. Orlando even took up the responsibility to go get tested, he wasn’t sterile, so everything was fine. It’s just that they were lucky the first time, that Donna got pregnant. It was then, that Donna made a decision, “Orlando,” snuggling up to Orlando while he sat in bed, holding Junior in his arms and made funny faces at his son. Donna looked at the sight in front of her, happy that she has a caring, loving husband that loves her as deeply as she loves him. “I think we should just keep trying,” Donna said brushing some strands of hair from Orlando’s face and kissed his cheek.
Donna took Junior from his father’s arms and placed him in his basinet. After, Donna crawled back into bed and laid her head on Orlando’s chest, “Plus, if nothing happens within a year or so, maybe we should try adoption.” She said wrapping her arm around Orlando’s chest. Orlando smiled at Donna and kissed her forehead, “What do you think? Would that be a good idea?”
“I think that is a wonderful idea sweetheart.” Orlando placed his lips softly on Donna’s nose. “Now, let’s get some sleep. I have a meeting with Fiona in the morning about a script for a play, so it shouldn’t take me too long to get back here. While I’m away, maybe you can search on the computer about adoptions and then we can talk about it okay?” It didn’t take long for Donna to fall asleep, as Orlando realized this when Donna didn’t respond. “I love you sweetheart.” Orlando whispered into Donna’s ear as he snuggled up to her and wrapped his arm around her waist. “I love you so much it hurts.” Slowly, Orlando fell into a deep sleep, praying that some kind of miracle would happen. Chapter 35~ Part 4
10 months later~
After a lot of hoping and praying, Orlando and Donna still didn’t get their wish. “I’m so sorry that nothing has happened yet.” Donna said to Orlando, wrapping her right arm around Orlando’s waist while they walked together on a quite street in Canterbury. Donna had Sidi’s leash wrapped around her torso while Orlando pushed Junior’s baby stroller.
“Don’t be sorry Donna,” Orlando said as he kissed the top of her head and sighed. “It’s just not time for us to have another little one yet. Besides,” Orlando smiled thoughtfully as they kept walking, “we’re having fun trying right?” Orlando and Donna laughed and shared a quick kiss.
“That’s absolutely right Lando, you’re absolutely right.”
Just then, they arrived at their home, since the house that Orlando had been building outside of London is finally built. “Come on Love, let’s go on in,” Orlando said opening the front door of their home for Donna, Sidi and Junior. “Maybe we can get Junior to walk today.” Orlando said with an excited voice.
“Maybe Orlando, but don’t push our son too much,” Donna said taking her coat off and proceeded with Junior’s jumper and blanket that covered him. “I’m going to go change Junior’s diaper, why don’t you get out Junior’s toys and we’ll be back in a few. Say bye bye to Daddy.” Donna said as she held Junior and waved his little hand at Orlando.
All Junior did was giggle and gurgle some baby talk, and some other sound that sounded like, “Paahhhgha!” But both Donna and Orlando didn’t really think anything of it until later.
“Come son, come walk to Papa.” Orlando said, sitting across from Donna by a few feet on the plush carpeting in their living room. Orlando kept on encouraging his son to walk on his own. But to no avail, Junior would make one step and then topple over. “Oh, Junior come here,” leaning forward, Orlando picked up his son and sat him in his father’s lap. Junior looked up at his father smiling at him. Reaching his small hand, Junior placed his fingers on his father’s face while saying some random sounds. Orlando looked up to Donna with a worried look, “Do you think that Junior here, is trying to talk? Is he supposed to talk before walking?” Orlando asked looking back down at his son.
Donna looked at the image in front of her, it was beautiful to see her husband interacting with their son. A small smile on her face, “I’m not sure Orlando, I’m not sure. But I don’t think it’s a bad thing if we try getting Junior to talk. I know Junior is the age when he’s supposed to learn to walk and talk, but I’m sure we still have some time before we really need to worry.” Donna smiled at her son, “Yes, isn’t that right Junior?” Donna asked with a baby-ish voice. Orlando laughed too, as he watched his little family grow together. Junior looked at his mother and then pointed to Orlando. “Yeah Pumpkin, that is Papa. Say Papa. Can you say Papa?” Donna said showing her son how to pronounce words with her mouth. Both Donna and Orlando have been working with Junior on his speaking for several weeks now, and were slowly progressing.
After a few minutes of watching Donna trying to get their son to say “Papa,” Orlando thought that maybe he could try getting his son to talk. “Maybe I should give it a try honey,” Orlando said while rubbing his wife’s back.
“Okay,” Donna said with a sigh and started to get up, “I’m going to go take a shower. I’ll be back in a few minutes to see how my two handsome men are doing.” Donna said giving a wink to her son and a kiss on the lips to Orlando.
“Okay Love,” Orlando looked at his son straight in the eyes, “Come on son, say ‘Papa.’”
Junior gave his father a funny look and started to imitate what his father was doing with his lips. “Pohh,” is all that came out of his tiny mouth. Despite the little improvement, Orlando was proud of his son.
“You almost had it there son,” he said with a light laugh that Junior imitated. “Try it again, say ‘Papa’ for me.”
“Paahhfff,” Junior giggled.
“Papa, say Papa.”
“Papaaa.” Orlando couldn’t believe his ears, he felt tears whiling up in his eyes as he grinned.
“Holy ****!” Orlando exclaimed, then realized what he did, as he covered his mouth and held his son close to his chest. “I’m sorry about that son. Your mummy would have my head on a platter if she ever heard me say that in front of you.” Orlando said as he kissed his son’s curly blond locks of hair that were growing. “Don’t you ever say that word in front of your mother, you hear?” Orlando gave his son a stern look, then smiled and patted his back lightly. “Good boy.”
“Any progress?” Donna’s voice surprised Orlando for a moment as he had his bonding time with his son. Donna smiled while walking over to Orlando’s side and sat next to him on the carpet. Orlando smiled back as he bounced Junior on the inner side of his knee that was soft.
“Yes Love, we made a lot of progress, isn’t that right little man?” Orlando looked from Donna to his son, as he fixed a wrinkle in Junior’s Manchester outfit. “Junior, who am I?” He asked Junior as he pointed to himself.
Donna looked on with disbelief that her son could talk. She believed that he could, one day, but not right now. Donna took her hand as she placed it over her mouth in shock of this wonderful moment. She watched as Junior imitated his father, moving his mouth slowly, “Papa, ablahba!” Junior giggled as he clapped his tiny hands together. The two proud parents looked at each other with glee as they witnessed their son say “papa.”
“I’m so proud of you!” Donna said lifting her son into her arms, “and you’re getting so big!” Orlando leaned over and wrapped an arm around Donna’s waist. “Maybe we will try walking some other day, okay?” Donna asked Junior.
“I say we celebrate this wonderful event tonight,” Orlando said as he kissed Donna’s head, while they sat on the floor as a family, “and I’ll make dinner.” Donna looked at Orlando in shock and tried not to laugh as Orlando looked back at her seriously. “I mean it darling, and I promise,” he said with another kiss, “I won’t burn the house down.” He left Donna with a smirk on her face as he got up and walked to the kitchen.
“Alright, I trust you,” Donna said as she got up and put Junior in his play pen. “By the way, I need to ask you for your opinion on something,” Donna walked into the kitchen.
“Sure, what is it love?” Orlando asked as Donna wrapped her arms around Orlando’s waist from behind him, watching Orlando chop some vegetables.
“I was watching the news the other day while you were at the play rehearsal, and saw an advertisement for an engineering job at the BBC TV studio. They have openings for both part-time and full-time schedules.” Donna said as she pressed her lips against the soft skin on the back of Orlando’s upper arm. She loved it when Orlando would wear his T-shirts with the sleeves cut off, which he was wearing now.
“And I take it you want to apply for the part-time job?” Orlando asked as he threw the vegetables into the skillet and poured some olive oil in with the vegetables along with some spices.
Donna nodded and said yes, “Yeah, if that’s okay with you. I don’t want to be doing something if you don’t feel comfortable with it.” Orlando turned to face his wife to give her is full attention.
“I think that is a wonderful idea sweetheart. Don‘t ever think that you always have to ask for my approval over everything that you want to do. I know your heart and your commitment to me, our marriage, and our family. I trust and love you with all my being because of all that love you show me. ” he said placing his hands on Donna’s waist, making her smile. “ Plus, you are one of the only women that I know that won’t go out on a million dollar shopping spree if I left my credit card in your care, so I know that I can trust you with that.” Orlando said giving my shoulders a light squeeze. “We can coordinate your schedule so that at least one of us is here with Junior, I don’t want anyone else watching my son until he is much older.”
Donna gave Orlando a funny look, “You know what? You are so cute when you are trying to overprotect our son.” Both of them giggled, then Donna smiled once again and leaned into Orlando’s hug, wrapping her arms around his neck. “So I take it you think me getting at least a part time job is a good idea?”
“Of course love, of course.”
