Re: The Secret
Breana's POV
We stepped off the plane, Mandy in Orlando's arms, Holly in mine. Orlando had informed me a friend of his would be picking us up at the airport, so I looked around for someone familar, when I saw Dominic Monaghan. Orlando took my hand as we walked over to Dom's car. The two friends exchanged hugs, and talked exitedly for a few minutes.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Where are my manners?" Orlando laughed. "Breana, this is my friend Dominic Monaghan, Dom, this is my manager Breana."
"You're the new Aleen?" Dom asked.
"Yeah, I guess I am." I laughed, extending my hand to shake his. He shook my hand, and smiled, helping me with my bags, then taking Orlando's as well, putting them into the trunk. We all got into his car, and he drove us to our condo. When we pulled up, I got chills. It was the condo from my dream. Down to the smallest detail. I shook it off when Orlando lay his hand on my arm.
"You okay love?"
I nodded. "Yeah, fine." He helped me out of the car, and I laughed, watching the girls run up to the porch. I grabbed the keys from Orlando, and ran after them, letting them in.
Orlando's POV
I laughed, watching the girls run up to the condo, with Breana seeming just as exited as the girls. I reached into the trunk, helping Dom with the luggage.
"So how long you been shagging her?" Dom asked with a chuckle.
"What?" I laughed. "I'm not shagging her."
"The way you look at her, you'd think you were going to take her right here."
"Geez mate. Where's your head." I laughed. "I'm not shagging her, okay? For one, she's my manager. Two, she just got out of a terrible marriage."
"So, you're not involved with her at all."
"Nope." I said, lifting her bag onto my shoulder.
"Good." He said with a smile.
"Oh no. Don't even think about it."
"I wasn't. But I am now." He laughed.
"Then what was up with the 'I have an evil plan' smile?"
"I'm setting you up on a blind date."
"What? No, I don't think so."
"Come on mate. You have to get back in the game. It's been three years since..."
I glared over at him.
"I'm sorry. But Laurie would hate seeing you like this."
I shook my head, thinking about her. He was right, Laurie wouldn't want me to be alone. But I highly doubt she would want me with anyone Dom knew. Still, I knew he'd never let me live it down if I didn't go.
"Fine. I'll see if Breana will babysit."
"Hey, maybe I could-"
"No! I will not allow you to corrupt her." I laughed, carrying the bags inside.

Re: The Secret
Breana's POV
The girls were picking out their rooms when Orlando and Dom walked out.
"Breana..." Orlando started.
I turned around and laughed. "What do you want."
"He has a date tonight, and wants you to babysit." Dom said with a grin.
I laughed. "You're ditching me on our first night in Hawaii." I teased.
"I'm sorry. I don't even want to go but Dom-"
I laughed. "I'm only teasing Orly, of course I'll babysit."
"Thank you." Dom smiled.
I smiled. "No problem. I'm helping you get ready. I don't trust your fashion sense. Come on." I laughed, taking Orlando's hand, and walking into what would be his room, rummaging through his suitcase.
"Hey!" He complained.
"Oh come on Orlando, it's not like you have anything to hide from me anymore. I know where all your playboys and cigarettes are stashed. We live together remember?" I laughed.
He blushed. "Oh yeah..." He mumbled.
"Now go take a shower, and I'll pick you out something to wear."
"But-"
"Go!" I scolded, pushing him into the bathroom.
I picked out a pair of dress jeans, and a black button up shirt, walking out of his room, and into the hallway, Dom was leaning against the wall, drinking a soda, watching the girls play.
"It dosen't bother you he's ditching you?" Dom asked.
I laughed. "Wasn't it your idea?" I teased. "And no, it dosen't bother me. He needs to get out evrey once in a while. Plus, I love watching the girls."
"So what are you doing tonight?"
"Probably taking them to the beach. I promised Mandy we'd go."
"Mind if I join you? Orlando's borrowing my car. He dosen't come here that often. I feel like I haven't seen the girls in forever." He smiled.
"I don't mind. Like I said, we'll probably be at the beach. If we're not then we're here in the condo."
"Alright. I'll-"
"Hey, I'm ready." Orlando grumbled walking out.
I smiled. "Hey, you look great. See, told you I have a better fashion sense." I said, fixing his collar. "Have a good time."
He smiled nervously. "Thanks. You too. Make the girls behave."
I laughed. "I will. Now go...and don't be nervous!" I said, ushering him towards the door with a chuckle. Once he was gone, I looked over at the girls.
"Okay kiddo's let's get ready for the beach!" I said, following them into their room, and getting them dressed in their swimsuits.
"Hold on. Let me get dressed, and then we'll go."
"Aw....It'll take you forever!" Mandy pouted.
"I'll take them and then you can meet us if you want.
"Yeah! Uncle Dom can take us!" Holly squealed.
I laughed. "Okay, Uncle Dom. Just make them behave." I said, looking up at him.
He smiled, and nodded, and I turned, going to get dressed.
Orlando's POV
I parked at the resturaunt, thanks to the directions Dom had taped to the steering wheel. I walked in, and up to the host, flashing the celebrity smile.
"I have a reservation I believe."
"Yes Mr. Bloom. The other member of your party has already arrived."
"Alright, thank you." I smiled, as he walked me to the table. As I walked over, a young girl, a couple years younger than me...atleast stood and smiled, shaking my hand.
"Hi Orlando, I'm Miranda. Miranda Kerr."
Miranda Kerr... Where had I heard that name. Victoria Secret! She was a Victoria Secret Angel. Wait to go Dom.... I thought, sitting down with a smile, once she'd taken her seat.
"It's lovely to meet you Miranda." I said, flashing a charming smile.
"You too!" She smiled, showing a perfect row of pearly white teeth. "Dom's told me so much about you."
I laughed. "All bad I'd guess. The funny thing is, he's told me absolutley nothing about you love."
"Well...this should be an intersting night then...shouldn't it?" She said, leaning forward a bit.
Dom's POV.
I looked up, as I heard the screen door shut. God, she was beautiful. She was wearing an orange sundress with hibiscus print all over it. As she got closer, I could see the bikini strap underneat.
Orlando is your friend....he made you promise not to corrupt her....
I told my self over and over in my head.
"You okay?" I heard her ask as she approached
"Yeah, fine." I laughed. "Just kind of dazed out for a minute I guess."
"Oh...okay." She laughed, laying a towel down, and pulling the sundress over her head to reveal a perfect tanned and toned body, that was a welcome clash to the little red bikini she was wearing. Before I knew it, she was running down the beach, scooping Holly into her arms, and running into the water. She really didn't see the effect she had. Her now wet brown hair cascaded over her shoulders as she swam through the water with Holly on her back. I looked over, seeing Mandy playing in the sand. Ah ha! My excuse to get into the water with her.
"Hey Panda." I teased, sitting down beside her. "Wanna get in the water."
"I can't without a grown up." She said, very proud of herself.
I laughed. "What am I? Chopped liver?"
"Huh?" She asked, obviously not getting it.
"Hello! I'm a grown up. Well...close enough." I laughed. "Come on."
"Okay." She shrugged, latching on to my back as I swam out to where Breana was swimming.
The hours passed, and though I had a hard time keeping my hands of Breana, I had a blast with the girls. After a while, Breana got out, and took pictures of the girls swimming. When I seen the girls were getting tired, I suggested we go in. Breana agreed, and helped me take them inside. Breana got the girls into a bath while I grilled burgers. The girls ran out in their pajamas, Breana following them in a pair of shorts and a Manchester United T-shirt that was obviously Orlando's. She walked over, putting her hand on my shoulder to peak over at the burgers.
"How's it looking."
"Um great." I of course, wasn't talking about the burgers.
"Okay, I'm gonna set the picnic table then."
"Okay." I managed to choke out, glad when she finally took her hand from my shoulder, and walked into the house to get plates, cups, and evreything else we'd need.
Orlando's POV.
Despite my early expectations for the date, I ended up laughing all night. There was no denying Mirands was beautiful, but more than that...she actually had a brain...and she was hillarious. We walked along the boardwalk, eating an ice cream. We'd ditched the fancy resturaunt Dom had set us up at, and decided to take a walk. I had told her about Laurie, and the girls, and Breana. She'd told me about her last breakup, and her job. Finally, I walked her back to her car. She leaned against the door, looking up at me.
"We should do this again." I said with a smile.
"How long are you in Hawaii?"
"A couple weeks."
She smiled. "I'm doing a shoot here for a couple of weeks. So...what about this weekend?"
"Sure. Call, and we'll figure out what to do. I'll have to work things out with the girls."
She laughed.
"Gotta get permission huh?"
"From those three? They'd kill me if I left without it."

Re: The Secret
Orlando's POV
I said goodbye to Miranda, and promised to call. I drove home, and parked the car, walking inside. The girls where no where to be seen, but Dom and Breana were both laying on the couch, asleep. I let the screen door slam behind me, waking Breana, but leaving Dom in a deadly sleep.
"Mm, hi." She laughed, sitting up. I raised my eyebrow, looking at her and Dom. "Oh Geez Orlando. We just fell asleep. Chill." She stood up, stretching. "How was your date."
Suddenly my mood changed, and I blushed, following her as she walked into the kitchen.
"It was good."
"Come on! You have to give me more than that!"
"And you have to stop stealing my clothes." I said, lifting the sleeve of the MU shirt for emphasis. She laughed, looking up at me.
"Stop changing the subject."
"Okay, okay fine." I laughed, sitting down at the counter, watching her as she grabbed a beer for me, and a wine cooler for herself.
"So..tell me about her." She grinned, twisting the top off her wine cooler, and taking a drink.
"Her name's Miranda...and truthfully, I had a blast." I smiled. "She's funny, and smart, and she knows I have kids and didn't run the other direction.." I laughed. "I was thinking about inviting her over this weekend so you can meet her."
I laughed. "She's your date Orlando, not mine."
"I know that, but I trust your judgement. Probably too much. I want to know that I'm seeing the real her."
She laughed. "Okay fine."
"So what did you guys do tonight?"
"Dom and I took the girls to the beach."
"He dosen't listen very well." I grumbled.
"What do you mean?"
"I told him to stay away from you."
The stubborn look I'd seen so many times crossed her face again. "Why?!"
"Because, he's no good for you."
"Don't you think I should decide who's good for me."
"You haven't done a very good job in the past." I covered my mouth as soon as the words came out. "God, Bre, I'm so sorry. I had no right to-"
She interupted me, putting her hand up. "No, it's okay. You're right I haven't. But I was young and stupid when I married Carl, Orlando. I'm a bit smarter now."
"I know that. I just don't want you getting hurt again."
"And I'm grateful for that Orlando. But you can't keep me locked up."
I looked down, nodding. "You're right. I'm sorry. Just...be careful okay?"
She winked, lightening the mood. "I always am. I'm going to bed. Goodnight." She leaned up, and kissed my cheek, walking into her room.

Re: The Secret
I like the protective side that's come out in Orlando toward Breana. Let's see how he keeps his cool if his friend makes a play for her!
