Knit Washcloths
In the Solstice Sacks this year, everyone is getting a washcloth/dishcloth. Usually, these are thought of as beginner projects, but I've had so much fun making them. They are all 100% cotton and each one will have a different design. I need to make 12 of them by the Solstice and I already have 4 done. They are quick - takes me usually 2 days to make each one. So I have plenty of time as long as I keep it up. The worst part is picking the pattern! There are so many cool ones. I'm doing all pictures instead of knitting patterns. Here are the finished ones - kinda hard to see the pictures on some.
Top left - Bobbles the Sheep
Top right - bunch of grapes
Bottom left - steaming cup of coffee
Bottom right - bubbling Erlenmeyer flask
I plan on making a bunch more in the future to use as dishcloths so that we don't have to buy sponges all the time. Use one for a day and then throw it in the wash. Sounds more sanitary too!
