Pagan Prayer Beads
Somewhere in this forum I think, I mentioned ordering a book on how to make these. Oh..no, it was in a reply to a post Texas did about some of our most treasured items, and mine was my Witch's Ladder. Anyway...I got the book the other day, and it has complete instructions on how to make these. As soon as I can get everything I need together to make the one I want to make, I'll post a pic of it. It may take me a bit to find the stuff. I may have to order some of the beads...but I have a FireMountain gem book somewhere, and that's one of the resources listed for the items needed. Some of these are so pretty, but very different from the one I have. Nothing like it at all. I really want to learn how to make them like the one I have, as well. But, I'll start out with these first.

Re: Pagan Prayer Beads
I've got to see if I can find my Fire Mountain Gem book and get some stuff ordered so I can start on these.
The one that was given to me, the thread was woven almost like it was braided, but some of the stones are captured in the braiding. They're not beads, so I don't know how she got them to stay put like she did.
Anyway..as soon as I get one done, I'll post pics.

Re: Pagan Prayer Beads
I've seen both of them at bead shows but haven't ever ordered online or through a catalog. I want to touch everything first!

Re: Pagan Prayer Beads
I generally get Oriental Trading Co. catalogs, but for some reason, the beads don't seem to be as good a quality as those of Fire Mountain. I can't find my FM catalog, so I either need to request another one, or do some online shopping.
