Beading

I just joined a beading kit club. The kits come with everything you need to make that month's project. The stuff in the brochure was really pretty. I've not yet got my first kit, but I can't wait to get it and dig in.

I'm still going to work on making the Pagan Prayer Beads as soon as I can get a FireMountain catalog. I think I'm about due for the next one (I lost the last one I got.... emoticon

)

This poor house is going to be covered in beads and projects being worked on...lol. I feel sorry for my DH!!! My desk is going to have to double as my work table. Thank goodness I have a laptop that I can move to make room!

I'll probably get my first kit this week. As soon as I get it finished (IF I don't mess it up), I'll try to remember to get a picture and post it here.

I'm so excited!!! emoticon

There may be some seed beads, but if there are, it won't be many. This is beads of all types, shapes, sizes, etc. Some gemstones, crystals and what-not. It will be interesting to see what all I end up with.

Corbin, if I can find the papers I'll see if there is a web-site you can go to to join if you're interested. If I can't find the papers, as soon as I get my first kit, I'll look.

I finally got my first kit. I've not yet started on it. It's a necklace and matching bracelet set. 2 strands on each. I just hope I can manage...lol. If not, I may end up with my own creation.....LOL

I'll let y'all know when I get started on it so you can kind of expect when to see a finished product.

Well, I got my second kit yesterday, and I've not even opened the first kit yet! emoticon

I need to get my rear in gear and get some beading done!!! LOL

Kit #2 is a 3 strand 'floating' necklace and matching earrings. UGH!

Hopefully I can get myself around and at least get started on the first kit in a couple of days. This past week it seems there has been something I've had to do, or somewhere I've had to go every day. And, this weekend is supposed to be in the 70s here, so I am going to open my doors for a while and air out the house...and I'll probably spend some time outside!! Next week looks like a good candidate for getting started. I only have one appointment then.
Y'all keep your fingers crossed that I can at least get started on it, even if I don't get it finished (I should get it finished...but one never knows with me..lol).

MAYBE I'll be able to post some pics by the end of next week (but don't hold your breath!!)
