Hi!!
Just a quick note to say that we are FINALLY (as of this weekend) moved in to our own place!! It's sooooooooo nice to be on our own again!
The move down from the U.P. was hectic/intense/crazy. Put our stuff in storage for a month while we searched for a place to live. Just got the last of it here to our new place a few hours ago.
Finally settled on a house in the city for now (temporary 6 month lease). Very cute house with tons of "olde world" charm.
This will give us time to explore the areas we are interested in better and see where we want to buy.
While I am thankful we had family to stay with for the last 3+ weeks..... did I mention that we are SOOOOOO thankful to have our own place again??

Yep, family is wonderful, huh? I bet it feels good to stretch your legs in the new place!
Great that you got a short term lease so you have time to look to buy. I don't know how people can buy a house before ever living in a city. But on the other hand, not everyone is fortunate enough to be doing it the way you are!
