Corbin, I love corn in my chili, but DH doesn't. To me, it gives it a whole other taste that is just really good, and this corn is really sweet.

Thanks to the other property tenent, who apparently decided we didn't have enough corn, I had to put another 5 or 6 gallon bags with at least 8 ears in each bag into the freezer. His is Peaches n Cream corn, but it was left a bit too long on the stalk and really has very little taste to it at all. Oh well, it'll fill the belly just the same!

Coons got our corn this year! They are a real problem at the farm. Eatin' all the melons now. emoticon

I love to make and can creamed corn. Or just cut it off the cob and can that. Use it in salads or heat it up as a side dish.

Or you can try hominy. I've never made it, but one day when I (hopefully) have too much corn to eat, I will get to make it!

I wish I had your problem! emoticon

I don't care much for hominy. Not sure why.

The corn has finally stopped. What we do have, DH is letting dry on the stalk to use next year to plant.

Texas, if you were here, I'd gladly give you some corn LOL.

Not sure what to tell you about keeping the coons out of the garden. May have to find a solution for that during the 'down' time.
