Energy Medicine for Women
This is an adaptation of the more general book "Energy Medicine" for the needs of women, by Donna Eden, a healer.
This book explains the energy system of the body, as represented by the meridians, the chacras and the aura, plus a number of other systems. Donna Eden then presents exercises that help balance the energy systems and restore health.
I'm very much impressed, and want to start the daily round of exercises. I know it'll be difficult for me to get into the habit, but it seems to be an easy way to get better health, more energy and happiness. Aside from the price for the book, it's free, to boot.
I'll let you know what happens.

Amazon.
While I use the German branch, here's a link to the US branch:
Energy Medicine for Women - Amazon
I'm very happy I can get English-language books easily through Amazon.de. That has made it very easy.

Re: Energy Medicine for Women
And I have to admit that now I am officially impressed. I did a few energy exercises this afternoon, while reading the book. I wanted to see whether I understood the descriptions.
And now a rash that's been bothering me for 10 days is gone. Without a trace. Wow.

Re: Energy Medicine for Women
Very cool!! I'll have to see if I can find that to possibly go along with the new HRT I'm about to start. It's an all natural approach.....my insurance won't pay for it, but it's not awfully expensive, thankfully. Just about $30 a month. If the exercises aren't something that will aggrivate my back and what-not..it may be worth it to do them in tandem!!
And that's pretty darn neat about how the rash went away!!

Re: Energy Medicine for Women
I'm still battling the rash - it disappears after doing energy exercises and comes back later, but is much better already - and upping my exercises to two rounds a day.
Saijen, those are gentle exercises, although some of them include a bit of bending over. You could probably leave those parts out or do them very gently. A lot of them are just holding points, breathing deeply or gently stretching.
I'm very excited about all this, especially about the sections on menopause and working with the hormonal system. (Ahem!) However, there is also a chapter on pregnancy and birth.
Best is, those exercises are completely cost free.
