Digital Converter Boxes-What A Joke!!!
When the gov't decided to go digital and tell us to either buy a new digital television. Or get cable or dish network by June 12th they didn't plan things out according. Then we were told to buy a converter box and the gov't would give us a couple of coupons. They also say that this would bring in more channels for us. What a joke that ended up being. Before they make the change we were getting a lot more channels off the air and now we're down to 2 channels and that's it. We also bought a good antenna but that didn't work because we need put it up higher and a router to go with it. What a shame it is costing us more to do all this. Might as well get our cable back now. Seems they sold over 30,000 boxes and had over 1,000 or more complains since this happened. Does that tell you something? So what do you think of these new converter boxes so far?

Those things are a big joke. I think we got swindled by the corporations that bought up the Analog TV signal bandwidth and sold us out for the digital Network TV.

Yes the whole thing was a joke. We can only get a few channels here and that's it. Now we have to save up to pay our past due cable bill so we can enjoy tv again.

We did not need a converter box. But as far as I can determine the service and quality has not change one bit
