Hot Air Balloon Ride

I wasn't the least bit nervous that day. The day before I had a teeny tiny bit of nervousness, but it only lasted a moment and then I was excited again. Our pilot has about 20 years or more of experience, so I knew we were in good hands, and it really was amazing to float over the land like that. Super quiet and peaceful, except when the captain had to fire the propane tanks to keep us afloat, and there was plenty of fuel. I can't wait to do it again!

Greetings all,
I went on my first hot air balloon ride in December and took a couple of videos. They're not spectacular, but I had a lot of fun!
Here we are INFLATING THE BALLOON
And here is one of the FLIGHT The pilot meant to brush the top of the trees--really.

Only for a fleeting second. I was much too excited to worry very much. The company I flew with has a perfect safety record, too, so I knew I was in good hands!
