LOTS of prayers needed!
Got quite a list:
1) For my mom - she's been having pains for a few days now and we don't know what's causing it yet. She's been to the doc, who gave her antibiotics, and asked her to have two tests dones to see whether or not she may have a kidney stone or if her ovaries are acting up. She had breast cancer years ago, so I'm praying it's not trying to make a comeback in her ovaries. The antibiotics are working, and she had one of the tests today, but no results yet.
---THIS JUST IN--TESTS WERE NEGATIVE!!! 
2) For my grandmother - my mom's mom has been in and out of the nursing home and hospital for various things this year. She's currently in the nursing home rehabbing after a broken hip and we are hoping she can go home next month.
3) For my great aunt - I'm not sure what's going on with her, but she's been ill, too, along with my great uncle (her husband).
4) For a family friend - she lost people she knew in the VA Tech massacre earlier this year and now her father is dying (or may have already died) from cancer. Been a rough, rough year for her.
5) For my mom's friend and his family - my mom's friend's brother died earlier this month. Official cause unknown (autopsy was not performed for some reason), but we're all guessing it was drug and alcohol-related. This man had serious problems, and was not well-liked, but he was still someone's brother and someone's son. Evidently he was trying to find help for himself the very day he died. He tried to find an AA meeting, but went to the wrong church, and then he was asking for a priest. I pray his soul is at rest at last. Very sad.
6) For another friend of my mom - he may be losing his house, his eyesight, and he just found out his mom has breast cancer. Also very sad.
I think and hope that's it...
