Delectable Mnts
Delectable Mnts is designed to be salon like in its proceedings. As such it is free ranging, difficult to fit into a category.
While primarily it is a board for poets and writers, it also supports discussion and the exchange of ideas in artistic theory and practice, music, art, politics, cultural studies, comparative religion, and environmental, Gaia-centric studies. Essentially Delectable Mnts is designed for artists, free range thinkers, and dilettantes alike: salon like, which simply means a gathering.

Thanks for the compliment, Firle. I've always been attracted to the salon notion. It's got a great history, you know, going back to the 16th C when women, denied a formal education, would convene in order to read, write, study, and parse ideas.
Your board reminds me that the Gothic might be a fun idea to chase down.
And thanks for the welcome, Vegas. Actually, the board has been around since last September. Just looking to spread the word.
