This is a friendly and welcoming board for all writers from right across the world, any age, any genre, we also welcome readers and have a “social section” for people to chat about issues from around the world, news, sport, music, films, etc, the usual general topics.
We run Story and Poetry competitions that are free to enter. And have a large range of stories and poems archived for you to read and comment on.

We have 281 members to date, 100+ have posted more than 10 times, 35+ have posted over 100 times and 12 have posted over 1000 times so that gives you an idea of how active the board is. It has 2000+ topics and 55000+ posts in total, with more getting added all the time (an average of 150 wonderfully unique posts per day).
It’s worth coming and having a look. You have lots to read, and you will always find a topic that you can’t help but reply to.
All in all Freelance Writers United is a place to unite, it’s laid back, it’s fun and it’s addictive.

i like fwu for it is laid back and the members are fun and cool but can be serious if a serious topic is about i very rarely go anywhere else on the runboard forums but i go to sometimes read the scribes board or i am now going to visit this board sometimes to.
