Hi again. It's about time for another All Avalon update!
I've just added two forums under a new separator, Faith Forums. These forums, "Prayer Requests" and "Bible Study," are forums where you can post prayer requests, and share what you are learning from God's Word, respectively.
This is a reminder that there is One who is to be praised much higher than people like Avalon! They might be great singers of excellent songs, but the work they are doing is not for themselves; it's for the Lord! This is why I have added these forums to the board. It is also why I have rearranged them in my control panel so they come before the Avalon forums.
Speaking of the Avalon Forums, added in that group itself is another new forum called "The Avalon Library". This one is different from the "Favorite Avalon Song Polls" and "Avalon Album News". The former is just for voting in polls for your favorite song from each of their albums, and the latter is for sharing news that you find about upcoming Avalon project releases. This new forum, The Avalon Library, is for discussing those projects already released.
And another thing: I have some people to whom I owe a little gratitude. Thanks to RunBoard Extra and the RunBoard Support Forums, I have learned how to do more than just add and rearrange my forums. The Control Panel link now reads very specifically, "Go to your control panel," and I have also added a Logout link below it. Beyond this, several other board language items have been changed in the text, but not changed very much; they've just been defined a little more specifically.
Thanks to everyone who participated in answering my inquiries from Q&A at the Support Forums. I really appreciate it a lot.

Right now, the board is partly "under construction". I am attempting to make a message at the top of every page that welcomes you to the board. I am also working on the forum that holds board info. I'm going to change the name of that forum from "What You Should Know" to simply "Board Notes," and I wanted all the topics to be sticky, with the "Board Explained" topic at the top, but then there was a little mixup with the rules and "Forums Explained" topics being in the wrong order, so I decided to combine them into one, and just add replies when I wanted to give updates. I tried to select the text from "Forums Explained" and just paste it all in "Board Explained," and then delete the former and change the name of the latter to "The Board And Forums Explained," but then all the text somehow didn't get into the computer's clipboard, and so now I'm going to have to type most of it all over again! But I'll work on that later! Right now, I am going to eat!
I'll let you all know when it is redone. But you can still post in the other forums.

Alright, everything is complete! It took me a couple of hours last night, but I got all the information typed up in the renewed "The Board And Forums Explained" topic at the "Board Notes" forum. And today, just a few minutes ago, I FINALLY added the long-anticipated "Welcome" message the right way! Come see all the changes at

Maybe you could drop one topic into each forum? That makes a board look "used", and it helps new members to post.

Thanks for the advice about that.
I have just changed "Avalon Album News" to "Avalon Project News". I did that because it's not just a forum about new CD's, but sometimes they will do concert DVD's as well, so I didn't want anyone to forget that they could share news on those!
I also put a little more info in the description for the "Avalon Library" forum, to include permission to post reviews and responses to them. I've often read reviews for Avalon's albums where the reviewer had said something in particular to which I wanted to respond, but I couldn't do it. So I figured a message board would be a good place for that.

Wow! I get a compliment from my newest member! Thank you!
As for updates, I put a separator above the three forums that are about their music, which would be the "Favorite Avalon Song Polls," "Avalon Project News" and "The Avalon Library" forums. The separator is "The Avalon Music Forums". I did this because I wanted the (Avalon) music stuff to be in a separate forum group on the board.
And as for putting a topic in each forum, I'm working on that. I've got some stuff in "Bible Study" that I think people might want to discuss. And there's more to come!
