It was nice of you to try and find a fair way to make us comparable, but we're still pretty low on the AI scale. emoticon Thanks for the attempt! emoticon

Yeah, Jason, you got it goin' on! emoticon

I have not kept AI scores so I can not say for certainty what a "good" AI is in terms of how well a board is doing. I did look at Queeny's board for some reason before the Pick-em round and after the BotW competition and noticed that boards AI is getting larger (up 10% from where it was in the Pick-em nominations round).

My "gut feeling" is a AI of 10 is a normal rating for small boards but I could be way off. To date Poster's Heaven is the highest rating I have seen under the new formula set.

I just checked out theadminzone.com to see how the AI would work for a non-runboard that is obviously active and huge... the result was a AI of 26.6139...

Wow!

There are some boards such as Queeny's that are usually very active. There is no doubt the RDS is definitely helping boards out if you look at the AI. emoticon

Wow, theadminzone.com is busy, and that doesn't even count guests who aren't signed in. And their AI only comes to 26.6139? emoticon

I'm just waiting for Jason's board to get 500,000 posts so he can get it listed at bigboards.com, so get those members posting, Jason! emoticon Hmmm... Knottylocks might actually get there in 13 or 14 months, based on the difference between their current stats and Runsearch stats from 3 days ago. It's not a big enough time span to really go on, but it might be doable. emoticon

Out of curiosity (see how curious I am lately? LOL) what is Knottylocks' AI?

I started to but then realized that if I made a post everytime I was checking then I would be influencing the very thing I was checking emoticon

Re: Your Runsearch Ranks?

Remember, the AI is a measure of how active that group is so just getting a bunch of people to join doesn't do very much if all they do is make the one post required to join (on a public board). Matter of fact that could actually hurt a boards AI! With the second equation group now in place the same goes for topics. Just making a bunch of topics can actually hurt the AI until people start to make posting in them.

I am almost positive that is why theadminzone.com shows such a low AI considering its size. People register to ask one, maybe two questions then never post again so the membership and topic numbers are huge but the AI suffers because over time those numbers continue to mean less and less.

I couldn't resist... I went to http://www.gaiaonline.com and had to hunt for the numbers but finally found them.

The AI of the worlds largest board is 63874.1819
