RBBT.NET Service disruption Important Notice Greetings,
Over the next few days I am being forced to migrate all rbbt.net files and images over to a new platform.
What this means is that there may be times when images and files hosted by rbbt.net will not be available.
Hopefully I can keep this at a minimum but I am giving fair warning, this is a major move and involves two domain names so I may not respond immediately to any postings directed to me (unless it is a ongoing issue already in progress).
NOTE: No files will be lost, but they may be unavailable for short periods of time while this is going on.

I don't really have a clue what you are doing, so one question.......is this something that any members (those who are not Runboard mods or admins) will notice?

Re: RBBT.NET Service disruption Hopefully you won't notice but ALL of the skins in the Directories Skins forum are hosted by rbbt.net so if I glitch out or run into trouble anyone using the new RB skins will be affected as well...
Re: RBBT.NET Service disruption The files have completed their transfer and the new DNS pointers are in place. There may be a small glitch over the next couple of hours until all of the servers get caught up but after that everything should be back to normal
The last time I had to do this I was on dial-up and 150+ Megabytes of files took a week. Now I understand what 3.0 DSL really means
The new servers are showing a consistent speed of twice what Runboard is showing and the bandwidth limitations have been totally lifted so those who use one of the new RB skins should be very happy.
The host has told me it can take up to 72 hours before all of the Internet updates their DNS pointers but until that happens we have a auto-redirect from the old to the new.
Re: RBBT.NET Service disruption The hosting service for rbbt.net is doing tweaks to their latest server upgrades so you might see some slowdown in response times over the next 24 hours.
This affects RB Chat, RunSearch, The RDS showcases both here and at RB Extra, and any graphics hosted by RB Skins that were created by Pastor Rick and Joshin Josh.
