Sharpie on Skin

...how's this for "whatnot"? emoticon I get bored, and I draw on people and myself with sharpies....a lot. Some people have actually mistaken some of them for real tattoos....Speaking of which, can you guess which of these pictures *is* a real tattoo? emoticon There's only one.

Enjoy!

Hey! Didn't your parents ever tell you not to write on yourself?

 emoticon

Well, I guess that's about as whatnot as any whatnot i've ever seen...

They're kinda nice, though. Is this the contemporary form of henna?

It looks fun. I used to draw little faces on my fingers and do puppet shows for my kids, but never anything that elaborate emoticon .

I can't decide which one is the real tattoo... I'm thinking it might be one of the skulls... although one of the pictures isn't showing up... you're not pulling a fast one on me, are you?

no, no fast ones here. But thanks for pointing that out. I think I forgot that if you delete images on photobucket, they go bye bye everywhere else! emoticon ...the deleted image was of a flaming pentacle on my knee. And you're right, it is one of the skulls, but which one? emoticon

And yes, my parents still tell me not to write on myself, but I don't listen. :P What kind of an artist would I be if I conformed to the rules? I dunno, it could be a contempo form of henna, but I don't know....I just like to draw, and I found that when you don't have any paper, skin works just as well! emoticon

These are phenominal! I love the vine up the leg, and the hand and foot art.

As for the real tatt, I am thinking it's the last skull.

If you do this with sharpies...how long does it take for them to wear off?

DING DING DING! You is correct! emoticon Harvey, tell them what they've won! ..... A BRAND NEW USED CAR!!!!! emoticon

Thank you though! emoticon the vine up the leg I did on myself. (yes, those are my very very pale legs.) ....lemme tell ya, you have to be a contortionist to be able to draw something on the back of your own leg, that's why you can only really see the front, because I couldn't reach the back, lol!

um, I'd say they usually take about....a week or so to wear off. So pretty much like a normal temporary tattoo. It's also a great way to entertain children. I was @ my fiance's band practice which was also a party for something that day, and I was drawing on myself, and before I knew it, I had a whole crowd of kids surrounding me going "OOH! Me next! Me next!" It was way fun, and their parents appreciated that they were entertained @ least for a little while, lol!

ERIN'S SHARPIE TATTOOS: We do birthday parties! Also weddings, barmitzvahs, and much much more! emoticon

Hey! That's the skull I would have guessed! I want to win a lifetime's supply of tweezers!

When yoyu're doing your business cards, Sorsha, don't forget that you do batchlorette parties! I'm betting that a lot of brides-to-be would want something interesting on their skin...

Uh... you know, I'm thinking of, like, doves and such...
