Wow...yeah, couldn't do a nude one of myself either...
The self-portrait I had to do for my painting class didn't specify anything, so I just did a head. And my skin isn't blue either! 
Man, the picture looks so crude to me now...good nose though!

I didn't plan on doing the naked version anyhow.... I had two teens inthe house and a toddler, as my final happened to come on the day before we were going on a trip out of town. I did spend a lot of time agonizing over everything, but relatively needlessly, it seems, because mine were some of the better results of the class. Somehow, though, I kind of expected that since we spent almost the entire class drawing anatomy.. skulls, internal muscles and such, and then all of a sudden were asked to render a full figure??? For beginners that's a huge leap. I kind of thought we'd be using the Virtual Pose disc and book with models in it more than we did, so I feel sort of gyped that we hardly used it at all and it was expensive. I guess I'll keep it for my own future reference, even though the guy models in it are all dorky looking. I didn't care for the type of paper she had us use one bit. Then, for some reason I couldn't seem to get a decent photo of it to submit, but I still wound up with a 91 for the class. Yay! Now in a week or so I take typography. Ew.

Sorry guys, I will be out a little while I think. EIther someone is seriously cursing me, or its just a case of bad luck raining down. My car had its own version of a meltdown, in the form of a leaking portion of the water pump bypass or some such, which means, it can't hold water for now because the part removed disintegrated on the inside and its some 900 bucks for the unit .. apparently you have to breakdown a good bit of the engine and replace the whole timing cover. So, I am out transportation in almost the middle of nowhere with my son. Luckily I have had some help from folks I know, but unless I can learn to drive a standard by watching videos online, I'm out of luck unless my brother in law can fix the car. I considered buying a junker with what I have left in the bank, but nothing looked promising and I can't afford a car payment, nor will my credit allow for reasonable financing anyhow. That, and my lease is up for renewal but theres some kind of snag, the daycare program funding is up for renewal, and the baby seems to be coming down with a cold. I've had a sore throat myself for two weeks now and got incredibly ill last week from some sort of virus or food poisioning. So yah, I'm cursed, and its killing my creativity.....
