I haven't tried but just the tiniest lick off my finger of it so far, and even that about burnt my tongue off it was so strong! ....I'm waiting to actually try the stuff when my fiance can make it out here, I think he'd kill me if I drank it w/out him.
From what I hear from this thread though, it should be a rather interesting experience. I can't wait! (oh, right, and notice that the bottle is sitting on top of my Starry Night mousepad!)
That's the cool think about being on the internet - I can temp people into lives of sin, degredation, and insanity while remaining far away...
Remember to dilute it with 3-4 parts ice cold water poured over a sugar cube or two, otherwise the high alcohol (138 proof, I see on the bottle) will burn something fierce and you won't enjoy it. And watch for the color change when you add the water - it's one of the marks of good French Absinthe (called "the Louche").
And I'd caution you about drinking too much too quickly, if you want to remember anything the next day .
