Section Description
I am, by both profession and inclination, a teacher. For me, there is no greater pleasure than assisting people in the magic of giving imaginary objects material forms, and of teaching them the very human art of using their hands in conjunction with their minds.
Also, I have found that by working with people, my own art improves. I end up learning new tricks and techniques every time I explain how to do something, or try to figure out how something could be done efficiently and well.
I, personally, and proud and happy to teach any techniques that I use, or that I know of. I'm not worried that somebody will use my techniques with more success than I do, because I know that the art is in a person's personal vision rather than in the tricks one uses to make that vision a reality. And nobody can copy your personal vision.
If you feel the same way, then post useful information and tutorials here.
On the other hand, if you possess information which you consider secret and proprietary, then feel free to keep it secret. But don't be surprised if somebody figures out how you do it and posts.
All secrets are open to a living mind.
I'd really like to see this section become a well used and respected resource for artists and craftspeople. But that won't happen without your help.
Please help us, won't you?
Also, if you have questions about how to do something, post them here. Hopefully somebody will be along who can help you out.
