Checking your spelling in posts

It drives me crazy when I type up a carefully thought out post, or try to respond intelligently to someone else's post, then submit the post, and discover that my usual dreadful spelling has snuck through, and I feel dumb.

I don't see any way to check spelling in these little windows here, so what I do is use the spell check in the browser toolbar (I'm using Internet Explorer - not sure which version).

Clicking on the spell check button will run the program. Misspelled words are underlined in red, and when you click-and-hold on one, the usual list of alternate suggestions pops up.

When you are done, click on the spell check button again to shut the spell check program off - otherwise it won't let you add anything new to your post (or click somewhere in your post and a box will come up offering you the option of stopping the program).
