Not sure if this fits here, but this section looks lonely. Origami cranes are traditional, right? well, here's something I made as a Christmas present for my second cousin this year. ....or last year, whatever! But anyway, I took about 10 different colored metallic paper cranes that I made, and made a rainbow mobile out of them for my cousin. I was quite proud of this little project. oh right, and please excuse the background of the picture, I had to set up in the kitchen, lol!
Re: Not sure if this fits here, but this section looks lonely. Cool! I love origami. I have 5 or 6 books but some of the patterns are INSANE! I really haven't made much.
Re: Not sure if this fits here, but this section looks lonely. I don't make much either, lol. I make cranes and boxes and that's about it. It's just a very zen thing for me sometimes. Plus, I'm trying to make 1,000 of them. I have no clue what I'll do with them once I make them, but apparently your wish will come true. Maybe I'll donate them to Hiroshima.
Re: Not sure if this fits here, but this section looks lonely. Yup - that's exactly the kind of thing I was thinking about for this section.
The Cranes are lovely, and make a wonderful mobile!
Did you ever see the movie Blade Runner - great movie (well, what do you expect - Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, directed by Ridly Scott), and there was a character in it who was habitually making paper cranes out of (I think) gum wrappers...
