Quetzal Dragon


Since most of my pagany stuff has a Pre-Columbian tilt to it, I figured I would make a Mayan version of a dragon. Quetzalcoatl is a creator god who is a feathered serpent. The Queztal (a beautiful bird) holds a special place in my heart so I figured I'd draw my version of the famous feathered beast. Mayan glyphs are usually drawn in blocks so I've used that geometry to dictate the serpent's position.

I like it! ....Would be really cool to see in color, but again, that's almost one of those things where the detail is so crisp, that you can almost see the colors even though it's black and white.
