Re: You need something...
My, you are a very wise and insightful fellow!
You (I?) do have a point. But there's a little bit of a problem here. I call it "The job hunter's dilemma."
You know how it goes...
You want a good job, so you go to college, graduate on the Dean's list (the good one, not the one he turns over to the police), go out and apply, go on interviews, etc., etc., but nobody will hire you because they want somebody with experience.
But you can't get any experience until you get hired by somebody.
So where'd the first experienced people come from, anyway? Were they born like that? Some kind of divine intervention deal, or a reincarnation thing, or something?
Makes ya wonder, don't it? But I'm rambling...
The reason I bring this up is that starting a new forum is a lot like that.
Nobody wants to jump in until there are other people who have already jumped in, but those people who would (theoretically) have already jumped in haven't jumped in yet because they're waiting for somebody else to jump in, but the person they're waiting for is already busy waiting for them to jump in.
Bloody 'ell. It's the Ouroboros running backwards...
So what's the point of all this?
Well, I'm having a swell time chatting with MeavesChild and TexasMadness, but eventually we're going to run out of things to say to each other.
So, if you're somebody else reading this, wondering if you should jump in or wait for somebody else to jump in first - my well considered advice is "Don't wait. Just jump in."
If you do, some day you'll thank me for this, or I'll give you a refund of twice what you paid to join.
(P.S. Joining is free. So 2 x 0 = 0. but I always pay my debts.)
