Frankenstein's Monster on Construction Paper

My name is Andy. I was born in Midland, Michigan and spent the first few years of my life in a Freeland, Michigan, trailer park. It was there I doodled my first doodle: a Frankenstein's monster in crayon on a sheet of white construction paper.

A light bulb went on and I have been drawing ever since. I call myself an "illustrator" nowadays but it's more of a way for me to feel serious about the images I create, as opposed to a way to feel like a haughty Mr. Fancypants T. Knowitall. I like to draw and want to share my work. I've had some illustrations published in a couple of different magazines and I'm working on a graphic novel. I've finished the script/screenplay which is sort of a road map for the art that is commencing forthwith.

If you'd like to see some of my work, feel free to check it out at my website.

I'm interested in being part of this community as a resource for getting feedback on this and other work. I also like to slap virtual high fives with my fellow creatives and see what sort of artistic wizardry other people are creating.

High Five!

Hey Andy, and Welcome to The Studio.

I think you'll find what you're looking for here. There are some very talented people here that can give you some feedback. And, some not so talented people (I mean me) that can just tell you what I do and don't like about an artistic piece.
I think you'll like it here very much and learn, as well as teach while you're here. emoticon

Again....welcome!!

Great illustrations! Welcome to the forum. This place is a good resource and hopefully we can all help each other out here - I'm mainly hoping to get inspiration these days. Well, first I need time, then the inspiration...
