Procrastination...
Okay... who else does it? I know I am not the only procrastinator on here...
I'm taking a break from last minute scrambling to get stuff ready for a booth Saturday. If I was organized and disciplined 90% of what I am doing would be done.
Who else does this? Is it an artistic tendency? Any ideas on how to break the habit?

Re: Procrastination...
Oh boy...
Good question...
I guess I do. As a matter of fact, I've had a stock of jewelry pieces so close to being done that I can almost take pictures of them, but, when it comes right down to it, they've been like that for the past three months.
I have been working on them lately, though...
But a lot of "stuff" gets in the way, and I come home from work tired and just want to veg out, and (insert other random excuses here).
The only thing I've found to counteract this is to keep doing SOME work - even if it's only a half hour or so, every day. The problem isn't to keep going when you're already going, the problem is to get started when you're stopped.
This is something I learned from physics - "A body in motion tends to remain in motion, but a body at rest needs a good kick in the seat to get it going again."

Re: Procrastination...
I think it's a human tendency. I think the people that do things on a timely schedule are rarer than those of us who do the last minute scramble.
