How in the WORLD do people keep up with all that silliness? I must be getting old...
Just had my first show of the season Sat. Night called Venus Envy, an all woman arts show. Lots of fun. Except it was on the Mississippi River, and the wind on the river is ALWAYS a beast.
Next show is the Janesville Renaissance Faire in Janesville, Wisconsin, May 16-17.
My ex boyfriend from high school who I apparently was the deciding factor in him being gay is hounding me to do the Pride Fest in Davenport, Iowa, which is in June. I did the show last year. Lots of fun, but it can be depressing when a man looks prettier and better in a dress than I do. His legs were amazing... I should start wearing heels...
August 1-2 is the World of Faeries Fest in Elgin, Illinois. http://theworldoffairies.com
I'll be there with my bestest friend Deanna Davoli, who is also a fairy artist. She lives in Florida and has family in the Chicago area, so that'll be fun to hook up with her. We're totally kindred spirits, so we'll have loads of fun together running the booth, hopefully do some great sales and generally laughing our butts off in the August summer heat.
September, I'll be at the Cedar Rapids Celtic Fest at Usher's Ferry, Cedar Rapids. This was my first fest and my favorite. They are sweet sweet people that run the fair and it's such a fun time, the setting is in an historic reenacted town.

Wow, you busy busy girl! I don't think I could even name that many festivals in my area let alone go to them all!
