- Mezmerize - A SOAD Story
"Heeeeeey!!!!!! Would you shut that off!!!!" Christina yelled.
"WHAT?!" Diane yelled.
"TURN THE ****ING MUSIC DOWN!!!!!" Christina yelled again.
"WHAAAATT???!!" Diane yelled back.
Christina burst throught the door.
"Dia! What did I tell you?! I have ******* exams in a week and I need quite to study!" Christina yelled after lowering the music that was blasting from Diane`s room - System Of A Down`s Know.
"Aw, why Nina! Why the hell did you do that!?" Dia yelled.
"Please! There are such things as headphones!" Christina said getting more and more pissed. "And dont call me Nina!"
"Fine CHRISTINA but this music is insperational! Im in a band and I NEED inspiration!" Dia said putting her hand in the air as if she was being "inspired".
"Whatever! Just quiet please!!!!" Christina said and walked out the door.
Diane (Dia`s) POV:
Hello, my name is Diane Maljonian. I am 23 years old and in my second year of collage, collage dosent really do much for me though, I miss all the time and dont get the work. My real dream is to be famous, im in a metal band called Sun Down and im trying to make it big. I play the bass and ive had offers before from people wanting me to do movie music but I turned it down, because you see I want to mnake it on my own with my closest friends who are my bandmates.
I grew up in New York and moved to California as soon as I finished High school. Its always been my dream to come out to Cali, and im finaly here and hoping my life of music will go somewhere. My favorite band is System Of A Down, you can say im a bit of a love sick fan! Ha! When their first album came out I started eyeing a guy, the bassist Shavo Odadjian. Ive seen the band in concert before and that was as close as I got.
Well Christina is my roomate, she is a bit of a mother when it comes to me having fun and blasting music but when she has a couple of drinks she is the BEST person to hang around! We dont get along EVER minuite but I still love her! She has been my best friend since the age of 13 and actually came to Cali from NY with me. She is like a sister. Now im here in Cali living the life, trying to get through collage, and get my band noticed. My bands drummer is Kyle, a nutty poet who is 22. Our guitarist is Steve, a 25 year old mastermind and a bit of a flirt. Our vocals, Andy Adonian. He is 28 and has the vioce of a dark angel if I do say so myself. And then me, the bassist.
Ok guys so I reallllly wanted to try my hand at a System story so this is the first part! If you like I will contiue writing it because I have a pretty good idea of what to write! Haha dont mind the disclaimer! I just have to write it! Whenever putting a story on the net I heard it is necissary to write one.
Oh and: Disclaimer- All the charecters I either made up (well not SOAD lol) or only used first names so please keep in mind this is only a "fictional" story.

Part 2:
"Quite, uh huh" Dia thought to herself. "Quite wont work! not now! I need to pratice my bass!"
So Dia picked up her Black Ibanez bass and began to play.
"DIIAAAA!!!" Christina yelled "GOD!!! SHOOT ME IN THE HEAD!! ALL I WANT IS QUIET!!"
"Hehe, busted!" Dia said under her breath when Christina almost abnged down her door while dialing a phone number.
"Hey, Nina what`cha doing?" Dia asked.
"Calling your band! Go to one of their places and pratice! And dont call me Nina!! It makes me twitch!" Christina said and got on the phone with one of Dia`s bandmated, Steve.
Phone Convosation:
Christina: HEY! Can you get your band together and like pratice or something?!
Steve: Huh? Why?
Christina: BECAUSE! Dia is driving me nuts! I`m trying to study and she is blasting her music and bass and GAHH!! Im going nuts!!
Steve: Fine fine! But you owe me one! Tell Dia to be at Andy`s in a half hour ive got it covered.
Christina: Okay! Thank you! I`ll do anything! But thank youuuu!!!
End of convo.
"Huh? Did you just call Steve?" Dia asked.
"Mw ha ha ha ha! Yup! And you have to meet him and the rest of the band at Andy`s place in 30 minuites! SO GET GOING!!!" Christina said and litteraly pushed Dia out the door with her bass in hand.
Dia`s POV:
"Well I have about a 15 minuite walk and 30 minuites to burn.... hmmm I guess i`ll go for a ice coffee its blazing hot out today anyway!"
End POV.
So Dia was sitting in a coffe shop and checked her watch. "Well better get going" she thought and got up and headed to Andy`s place.
When she got there about 10 minuites later she set up her bass, pluged in her marshall amp and started jaming with the band.
"Heeeeeey!!! DIA!!!!! ITS DIA!!!! LONG TIME NO SEE!!" Kyle said huging the life out of her.
"Hehe nice to see you to! Well shall we?" Dia said and strumed a few bass chords.
After two long hours or pratice Steve broke a sting.
"*******IT!!! WHY AM I BURDENED WITH SUCH PUNISHMENT!" Steve yelled throwing his arms dramaticaly in the air.
"Relax dude! Its just a string! Im tired for today anyway my throat hurts from so much singing!" Andy said taking a sip of water.
"Hey, im headed to diamonds guitar palace anyway! They say its the best place in all of Cali so i`ll drop your guitar off, I have to pick up my other bass and a guitar I just had costomized.
"And your walking?!" Andy said in shock.
"Yep! I can do it! Plus its not so hard carrying three instruments! Ha!!" Dia said flexing her arms. "Plus i`ll be droping Steve`s guitar off so it will only be three! If it was four well thats a different story hehehe"
"Thats great!" Steve said handing Dia his guitar then jeting out the door.
"Well that was odd" Kyle said while packing up his drum set.
"Yeah.... well whatever. Im gonna get going now guys! CYA!!!" Dia said and headed to the guitar store.
Oh I forget to do this before. Its not really necissary but I wanna lol
Dia`s looks: 5"7' - thin - black shoulder length hair - gothic/metal head clothing style.

Part 3:
"Wow this is taking a bit longer then I though it would" Dia thought to herself.
"Its been 20 minuites and im just half way there!" She now said out loud checking her watch.
Dia continuied her walk there getting the avarge glare from the model like stuck up people who didnt accept her individuality.
*Sigh*"Such hard heads they are" Dia said to herself.
About 25 minuites later Dia arrived at the guitar shop. It was a huge place with different rock music instruments lining the walls! There were even some rare signed instruments, even a guitar with Ozzy Osbournes signature on it!
"Hey, Tim?" Dia said to the guy who was at the front counter "Im here to drop off this guitar, it has a broken string, oh and is my bass and guitar complete?"
"Yes, they are complete. You can bring them back with you now let me go get them and take this guitar with the broken string, you can pick this up in about a week" Tim said.
"Alright great! I cant wait to see the costome job on that guitar!" Dia said putting her hands together "Oh and im not going to be picking the broken guitar up my bandmate Steve is"
"Ah okay, well I will be right back, let me go into the back and find your guitar and bass, feel free to look around" Tim said.
"Okay, thanks!" Dia said and began browsing.
"Damn there is such a varitey here!" Dia said bending down to look at the body of an old Gibson that was redone.
When Dia stood up she bumped into someone,
"Oh im sorry, I didnt see you there!" Dia said turning around to see...
"SHAVO ODADJIAN!!!!" Dia yelled in shock.
"Uhhh yeah thats my name! Heh and its no big deal you just bumped into me! Im still breathing" Shavo said. "Um is something wrong?"
"N-nothing! I-Im just a HUGE fan!" Dia said.
"Well im a fan of my fans!" Shavo said and laughed.
"Heeey, im sure you get this EVERYDAY and all but can I get an autograph and a picture or soemthing?" Dia asked.
"Hey no problem! I do get it all the time but each time a new person is a new experience!" Shavo said while signing her bass.
"I dont know how I can thank you!! God you rock!!!" Dia said now getting a bit hyper.
"Hahaha! Welcome! So you wanted a pic too? You have a camera?" Shavo asked.
"Uhhhh yeah! Lemme just get it out" Dia said while going through her bag and pulling out a camera.
Tim just came out of the back with the bass and guitar...
"Oh hello, can I help you sir?" Tim said to Shavo.
"Oh yeah actually I came to pick up a bass" Shavo siad "But you can do me another favor and take a picture?"
"Sure thing" Tim said and took a picture of Shavo who had put his arm around Dia.
Dia`s POV:
"Oh my god! this is unreal! I cant belive I just met my idol! An autograph and now a pictue!"
"Hahaha I must seem like some giddy school girl!"
"Ah! He just put his arm around me! Damn does he smell good! God! I have the urge to hug the life out of him!"
"Ha! Is it possoible to be in love with someone im just meeting?" Dia thought to herself.
End POV.
"Thanks" Shavo said to Tim who just snaped a photo or two.
"Here is your bass Mr...... Odadjian?" Tim asked.
"Yep thats me" Shavo said and took the bass.
"And for you Miss. Maljonian?" Tim said handing Dia the bass and guitar.
"Hey your Armenian?" Shavo asked.
"Ayo, how did you guess?" Dia laughed.
"Haha well the last name I guess gave it away" Shavo said "Well nice meeting you" And he walked out.
"Oh thanks Tim! How much do I owe you?" Dia said attempting to hold all three instruments.
"Well that young man picked up the tab while you were in dream land" Tim said laughing in his hearty old laugh. He really did sould like a jolly saint nick.
"What?! Are you serious?!" Dia said in excitement "Wow! He is so great! Well thanks Tim! Bye I gotta get going I have a bit of a walk!" And with that Dia left the store.
